Tara Emerald - Hotel in Hubballi - Dharwad, India

Overall a decent place to stay for a day or two, reasonable rates too. Service is just okay. Only three or four cars can be parked outside. There is a very good bar on top. On the ground floor they have a veg restaurant, morning free breakfast is below average. Basically it is located close to the highway this one is a decent place to stay with reasonable rates compared with other hotels nearby.

Stay was amazing at Tara emerald, very convenient, staff was friendly, food was awesome, since we checked in early, all the rooms were booked when we arrived, But they accomodate us and upgrade to premium suit. pro's 1. hygiene 2. ambience is good 3. good Food con's 1. check in timings is too late 2pm 1. hygiene 2. ambience is good 3. good Food

Waste of money mutton biryani was spicy not so tasty and chicken rara was ok same like kolhapuri but the candle light was good. Costly restaurant but taste was not at all good compared to the price

We stayed there three days during our transfer to Hubli. The room we've been provided with is very spacious, clean and room service was also good. Breakfast was complimentary. Although they offered limited items (6 items) during breakfast but the taste was so good. The hotel is situated at a distance of around 2.5km from airport. But cab service is not readily available. One can either inform hotel reception beforehand to arrange a cab or grab an auto to airport. Auto stand is just in front of the hotel. They also have parking space available in front of the hotel. The parking can accommodate 5-6 cars.

The food and service at the rooftop restaurant is severely lacking. The only reason this is a 2 star is because of the rooftop location. There was several delays in getting the food we ordered. The restaurant wasn't even at half capacity yet there were unnecessary delays - almost 90 minutes for the starters to arrive. In addition, the staff there is apathetic to any of your concerns. When we were halfway through our meal, a bunch of youths took the table behind us and started drinking and yelling profanities which could be heard several tables over. Brought this up to the manager and he basically shrugged it off. Save yourself some money and dignity and head down the street towards the airport where there's several restaurants who would be happy to earn your business.

I stayed in the hotel for a night. Excellent location. Limited parking. Excellent service by staff. Complimentary buffet breakfast was limited on menu, but great on taste. Room cleaning, quality of pillows and blankets and cleanliness was not at all upto the mark. Lots of improvement required in this area.

This is the most worst hotel with the worst receptionist lady, I travelled from Bangalore and requested them only 1 hour of early checkin, to which they denied and said if you pay 600 INR , we can give early checkin. They were not even ready to make me speak to any manager too.

The pub was average at best ,staff don't smile and the music was garbage Hindi stuff , Although the LIT was great Maybe also train the staff to speak English ! Also the place doesn't have a dance floor. Update this time we went there were cockroaches on the tables absolutely disgusting. Very disappointed.
