must visit during winters. If your planning to visit with a group try to prebook food or the huts. take your own food and book the hut and roam around for photos and leisure time try to exit before dark to avoid extreme traffic.
Beautiful Picnic Spot but The Picnic commitee is charging Uselessly Rs1000 for cleaning purpose and ended up giving just the space ( tent) nothing else , Rs1000 is too much. And they will also charged u Rs100 as a entry fee. We also took wood for fire , which they were charging Rs400 , but we which didn't pay , And the place is too much sandy. The committee should also take care the rules and regulations provided by the government, no rule were followed . But must say the Sunset was so beautiful, . There is also a Boat ( ferry) which will give u a ride for 10min , per person Rs100 and there is also a horse ride , they will also charged Rs100 . But Must say toilet was neat and clean .

A great picnic spot for family and friends. They charge some amount of money for the picnic spot with shade and dustbin. Great place to click photos and enjoy a panoramic sunset alongside the Brahmaputra River. Ample water is available for the picnic. Parking spaces are also available . Small shops are also there where you can get some supplies required for the picnic. The only thing it's lacks that there is only one toilet space and it was really flooded and untidy.
I didn't understand why they charge 100 Rs per person, especially when states like Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, which are incredibly beautiful and major tourism destinations, don't charge this much. Some spots are even free. Charging 10 or 20 Rs would be sufficient for this average place. As an Assamese, this is our land. Should we have to pay this much in the name of tourism?
Nice place for families/friends get together purpose. The view of mighty Brahmaputra is breathtaking..
Hospitality of the owner of impressive. Enviornment is good but summer noon time is not advisable due to sultry atmosphere. May be late afternoon and morning are pleasent. Very good for picnic in winter.
Great spot for outings and picnics either with friends or family. You can get a view of the river along with greenery to please the eye and a combination of the sun and sand give you the feeling of a sea beach. Highly recommended.
