Tantraa Homestay - Home Stay in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

Great location in Fort Cochin. My room was comfortable and clean. The most clean room I had during my stay in India. Great value. The staff is helpful and super friendly. Babu, the owner, is the best. There is a common kitchen but no kitchen service when I was there although they have a menu. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to hang out.

Stayed there for three 2eeks and had a lovely relaxed time. After traveling India for some months I needed a quiet and friendly place to rest my bones, and tantra was perfect. Babu the owner is very nice, the room was large, clean and had everything, the shared kitchen was perfect and the neighborhood quiet but still central. I would highly recommend staying here!

My best stay in India so far, the owner knows the place, is most helpful, gives advice, plans your trip if you wish and treats you like a friend. They offer both traditional built rooms and standard rooms with air condition at the best price. Some people stay there for months for a good reason. I felt like home. Thanks for everything.

Homestay was nice, good location close to the Chinese Fishing Nets, Churchs etc. We grabbed an Ola from the bus station to there which was easy and pretty cheap. We stayed in the non A/C room which got very hot so would recommend paying extra for proper A/C. It has a communal kitchen area with fridge etc, you can fill your water up for 10 rupees. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean along with the common area also. Good to stay for one night.

Babu is a great host who was always available to give suggestions and answer questions. The layout of the place is very open, good for getting to know your fellow travelers. My room was on the top floor and it was as advertised. The location is pretty good with some nice local food and shops nearby.

Best place in Cochin, quiet and friendly. Very clean with a big kitchen. The owner Babu is super helpful, organizes backwater tours and brings you to some awesome places to eat, drink, yoga, meditation, kerala dances and shows.

I cannot say enough good things about tantraa, the staff makes you feel like you are a true friend, not a money sign. They were so helpful in letting us use there address to send a Amazon order, they stored our bags safely for 10 days while we went on a motorcycle trip, and the rooms are clean with a great kitchen and hangout. I recommend.

This is a great place. Have been travelling in India for 3 months now, and in terms of value for money, this is the best place I've stayed in so far. Nice and clean. Such a great guy running the place, Babu. Hats off.
