Tanthadi Beach - Beach in Tantadi - Visakhapatanam, India

Very pleasent and peaceful beach. Very neat and best for family time

One of the best beach near Visakhapatnam. The view through rocks and from cliff is amazing. The journey through villages on narrow roads is a must but roads are good for both car and bike journies. Tanthadi beach is not much crowded as it is far from city and approximately 50km from Vizag. No food stalls are there. You have to bring eatables, drinking water with you. As it is a clean beach as of now please dont leave your wastage there. You can drive car to very near to the beach. A police post is also seen there.

Pleasant place to visit with friends and family

The best points are the expanse of soft sand and the magical sunsets out at sea. But the water's edge rapidly slopes down and in February whilst the sea was very cold and big waves made access difficult. Not really for children and weak swimmers.
