Tannirubavi TREE PARK - Park in Mangaluru - Dakshina Kannada, India

The place is vast, quiet, full of shady trees, and beautiful, and you can also enter the beach from here. But overall everything needs better maintenance. More trees need to be labelled. They need to popularise the place better and make sure the canteens have food availability. Right now it is just a place for lovers to hang out.

There is nothing much here. For nothing, there is an entry fee of Rs. 50. Well they have named some different kinds of trees, a small canteen, few seating, a play area for kids (very basic). I would not suggest this to be considered under your plans while you travel.

It's a small park with good ambience to spend some time. Tree cover makes it possible to visit this place early afternoon. At the end of the park, there's a opening to sea side where they've kept few benches under shades, these benches along with the sea view is priceless. Park also has some statutes which show local tribes and art forms. There's a canteen inside this place, along with other amenities. Some amenities and facilities are closed and not operational.

A beautiful educational theme park with Information Center, open air theatre, very beautiful park, sitting place facing Arabian Sea,a small restaurant, wash room etc. Approach road is good. This can be a wonderful learning place for children and adults. Regular programs for school children and bus service to park are essential. All the facilities have to be kept in opertion.

Tannirbhavi Tree Park is an initiative by the Karnataka Forest Department and is set up in an area close to 15 hectares near Tannirbhavi Beach. This Tree Park includes specific tree species found in Western Ghats. It also includes trees/plants which are of herbal and medical nature. varieties which I saw first time (Tincher plant) I was expecting more trees and mangrove kind of environment. Rare plants also planted Nearby to the Tannirbhavi Beach Nothing worth mentioning about the park, Needs more attention. However, one visiting the Tannirbhavi Beach may have a look at it as it is nearby, approx 1 km Tree park is nice place to relax in the middle of clean and noiseless.Well organised with a tiny watch tower, this park has various sections with idols to depict various earlier lifestyles. There are many trees and statues. .There was only one Scaevola towards beach side. One can also enter the beach from back side of the park. It is just pristine. Beach side are arranged bunches and small open huts . Famly and couples also attracted very well . For family there were kids playing area Kids will enjoy the tree park. The kids will also love the children park area and for couple's there is no one for disturbing and a peaceful area . Among the trees we saw a peackok This portion of the beach is well kept and has lesser visitors . Kids play area is maintained very average Not maintaining properly most of the attractions were in very bad condition cant swim in the beach as its deep and dangerous .. If kept well, it could be a great place.

It is park in jungle kind of setting. Very green environment. Maintenance is not upto mark, but still some good picturesque places. There is entry fees of rs. 20 per person. There is a beach , accessible from within the park. It is one of most clean and beautiful beach side in Mangalore. There is no crowd of people. Very serene and nice.

I liked it good place to hang out however the trees and other things needs a huge amount of taking care . Everything is either broken or the trees are all dry all u see is couple of trees It leads to serene Beach side that's the only beautiful thing. It would have been amazing if it was take care off

A very peaceful place with lots of trees planted around. Can have a good family time. Has a connected beach which is like a cherry on the cake. The beach is not that crowded which helps for a peaceful trip. Good canteen and also clean washrooms. Had a great experience and would go there everytime i visit mangalore.
