Recently we had been to Tanishq MG road ,Gurgaon. The lady at the door the door told us there is waiting time and we were asked to wait, Our intended purchase was only a baby bangle and we waited for quite a 20 minutes even without having to see any wares. A gentle reminder about our waiting and pat came a nasty expression that we would have to wait. Her facial expression was as if she was doing us a favour. Finally after 30 minutes we went up to the counter to encounter a sales girl who did not even know the basics of gold jewelry and its sales. I asked her for an estimate with specifics and she gives me the total cost without the breakup. Disheartened we left the store and went to another south based store close by and completed our purchase. Shocked that a leading store such as Tanishq has different customer treatments in different states. We have been Tanishq customers since 2008 shopping in Chennai. Our first time shopping experience in Deli-Gurgaon has made us shy away from further entering this snobbish store.
Loved the store and the range. Special shout out to Siddharth who showed us the entire range and was patient throughout the process. Made us understand the technical bits in detail and rather worked with us to understand our requirement. Event got us a good deal (to wait for couple of days for the Tanishq offer:). Highly recommended company owned and operated store!
