Tamulbari Kurua Picnic Spot - Picnic ground in Dakhin Kuruah No.2 - Darrang, India

This is an excellent place for landscape photography and picnic in Darrang district of Assam situated in the bank of mighty Brahmaputra river. I took this star trail of 100 shots in this place at night during August. Best time for picnic is December-January. Migratory birds are seen during summer in the community tank near the hill. It has few leopards in uphills. It has a ferry ghat which provides ferry service to guwahati city. Many opts this ferry service to escape traffic jams on way to the city.

Good place for picnic in winter when water become dry in the river.

A nice spot to hv a picnic during winter days. It is on the bank of Brahmaputra, so u can use water from there and as it is the MIGHTY Brahmaputra, it increases the value of photography enormously. Again the bank is covered with rocks. Altogether a nice mixture of nature. Surely u can plan a picnic here and I guarantee, u won't regret.

A beautiful picnic place, situated at the bank of river Brahmaputra and adjacent to the Kurua hills of south Western part of Darrang District of Assam. In the winter months people throngs this place for picnic with family and friends. The best time to visit this place is, in the month of December and January of the year.
