Tampara Park - Park in Humuribana - Ganjam, India

Very nice place.. Has a good scenery and a good atmosphere. It had cool air, coming from the lake. There are chairs, lots of shops to get fast food, biscuit, chips etc. There is also a guest house for people wishing to spend their day. If someone is interested in having water based activities, they can avail the boat rides, speed boats, banana boats etc. Overall its very clean, beautiful and peaceful. It also has a small park with rides and a good and clean bathroom.

I must recommend this place to get some nice and splendid time with your family and friends. It feels rejuvenated with the calmness and relaxing winds. If you want to spend some fun time then take a few boat rides or water sports not much available though. My personal fav is sitting in a chair looking at the river and feeling the cool breeze while enjoying the self reliant moments. Tips: - Go early and come early. Because it's empty after 8 and a bit far from Berhampur almost 20kms so don't recommend after 8 to stay there. - Take a local boat instead the govt boat if you're young because it's more fun in local boat which costs just 50/- than govt which is 100/- and govt boats are boring for me honestly. - Don't take any food from the shops inside its very expensive than outside. - Carry the parking tickets all the time until you're return. - And lastly don't forget to get some nice pictures it's beautiful when the sun is setting and you're in one of the boat with your cool glasses and your hands are spread and soul is wind touched

Natural lake,with a beautiful surrounding,very less known place till now but will be the most happening place soon. With the lake view and place to spend a joyful time,and the facility of water rides ,it is the best place till date for me to visit in Orissa till now.

Tampara Lake is a 300-hectare (740-acre) fresh water lake situated on the right bank of the Rushikulya River, near Chhatrapur, the district headquarters of Ganjam district, Odisha, India. It is 23 km (14 mi) from the city of Brahmapur.The fresh water lake is connected to the Rushikulya River. The flood waters from the river enriches its biodiversity, thus the wetland supports 60 species of birds and 46 fish species. The lake is instrumental in flood control during the monsoon season.There are boating and recreation facilities on the site for tourism.The lake has been designated as a protected Ramsar site since 2021.

Experience is okey ok.. same as regular parks ..but 20 rs ticket is worth it.. -> Evening time 4.30 to 6.30 will be best time to visit .. -> best and safe place couples , (famous by this name ) -> There cafes are very over priced.. for not so good food .. idk why -> 1st wooden bridze is broken .. be careful while going there.. 2nd and 3rd is good . -> The Game zone situated there is mainly for children.. For better experience you can goto Lake section and try different water activities there .. or to their resturant which has good food but on little expensive side.

Well maintained. Very Beautiful park. Food court is also good. A very good place to spend some peaceful time.

The local govt. has done an excellent job in renovating this lake through a Public-pvt. partnership. Nice paved sidewalks by the lake. Different types of individual/group boating facilities available at affordable prices. Apart from that there's a snacks and beverage corner with multiple shops in site. An additional fun loaded game zone is established near the entrance especially for kids. There's no age limit in this park. People of all ages can have a great destressing experience at this park by the waterfront. Overall a great place to be in this region.

This place offers a nice view of the lake. Ample walking space along the lake.
