Tampara lake is situated at an half an hour distance of Brahmapur. Different kinds of water activities can be enjoyed here like banana boat, water scooter etc. Maximum people generally comes here at late afternoon and enjoys till evening. Food of the waterfront restaurant is also good.

We enjoyed a lot in Tampra Lake. It is a freshwater lake located in Ganjam district, Odisha and It is connected to the Rushikulya River. It is home to a variety of birds and fish species, including some that are vulnerable or endangered. It is a popular tourist destination, offering boating, picnicking, birdwatching, and water sports. A resort, Restaurant and a huge garden is here. The most beautiful part is one can see the images art in the boundary wall.

Wonderful spot to visit. Lake is so beautiful and so big. Park beside the lake is artistically designed and very well maintained. Large parking lot is also there. A very good place for water sports activities like banana boat, speed boat, water scooter etc. A cafeteria is also there. Tranquility and serenity is the other name for the lake. Very well managed
Tampara lake has recently been redeveloped into a major tourist attraction. It has got good water sports options. The boat ride is (15 mins round trip) was very enjoyable. Even the park is very well maintained. You can spend good 2-3 hours in this area.
