We visited this place on the weekend and as on that day it was raining heavily, the waterfall stream was quite heavy. One needs to be very cautious while playing in the water, and need to wear appropriate footwear as the stones in the stream make it difficult to climb the hill with water flow. You will get plenty of options to eat snacks.

This is one of the most beautiful waterfall in and arid Tamhini Ghat. It's a must visit for Punekar. The stretch from Mulshi to Tamhini ghat is serene and beautiful. Best time to visit Tamhini ghat and Tamhini ghat waterfall is during monsoon season. The views are breathtaking and mesmerizing. Tamhini ghat waterfall is the perfect place for getting soaked in waterfall. It looks as if it is man made somewhat will remind you of a waterpark. Strongly recommend this place
We chose a weekday to avoid the mad rush. Went on exploring various side roads and discovered some very nice picnic spots and waterfalls.
A chain of waterfalls are there, better to go around July, august. The views are also pretty good. If you visit a single waterfall.. not worth it but if you see a chain of waterfall then it's worth visiting
You can reach the place in 2 hours from Pune . Very pleasant, cloudy atmosphere can experience during the travel.
