A one hour trek (easy to moderate difficulty level) from the temple complex to reach the stunning waterfalls . The course of the waterfall has slightly changed due to a landslide in 2023. But the view and the trail is very beautiful. A must visit place for adventure lovers, but please respect nature and do not litter or dirty this beautiful hidden gem.

If you are an adventure lover must visit this waterfalls by going to waterfalls you should pass through many small small water streams it gives better experience. Trek is around 1 hour in dense forest. For better experience visit this waterfalls in monsoon. Entry fees is Rs - 100 for per person.

The approximately 1 hour (4km) Trek to the waterfalls begins from the gate of the Mahadev temple where you can park your vehicle. You have to pay an entry fee of 100Rs to the friendly forest officer who will guide you. the Trek itself is quite steep at places (so you need to stop take some rest and continue) and filled with dense vegetation during monsoon. There are arrow markings and stones painted in white which direct you to the waterfalls. the officer said that leeches are prominent in the Trek but thankfully I didn't encounter any. being the first person of the day to reach the falls I enjoyed this natural beauty all by myself. the rains started pouring just when I was contemplating to venture a bit further into the rocks and underneath the the gushing water, but decided not to as it was a bit slippery and not worth the risk as I was alone. on my return to the base I met many groups of tourists who were now climbing up, all of them had the same question, How much time to the waterfalls? It's worth the experience. Do keep yourself hydrated and carry some snacks as well (please don't litter). There are small shops at the base as well. my plan was to head to the legendary Doodhsagar falls next however the friendly forest officer said that the falls were closed as of date (1st July 2023) hence couldn't make it.

Tamdi Surla is the 2nd biggest waterfall of Goa. Very easy to access. If you are travelling from Anmod then after reaching Mollem check post, turn right and travel another 17kms to reach the place. The temple is very beautifully maintained. The forest officials available at the gate of the temple will give tickets @100 per head if you wish to visit the waterfalls. U can also hore a guide. It's better to have a Localite with u. The trekk to waterfalls is apporx 4kms one way, the last 600 meters is very steep. The jungle is a habitat of snakes so be careful while walking. The view of the falls is mesmerising. Its worth visiting. Don't wait. Hit the road this weekend and reach the spot.

Goa is a beautiful place to explore waterfalls in the monsoon. This is one of the most beautiful places in Goa. 4.5hrs of hiking is required.

All in one place treking, bathing, nature and mahadev temple. If you are an adventure lover and nature seeker, this should certainly go in the list of places to visit. To experience this amazing place, you need to take a trek route which is about 10 kms. Firstly you can visit Mahadev temple which was built centuries ago. it is very well maintained and gives a very pleasant and divine feeling. You have a water stream passing right next to the temple where you can relax and enjoy the nature. During the trek, you come across many beautiful water streams all through the journey as you pass through the dense Western ghats. The first glimpse of the water fall itself is so magnificent. If you would like to get a bit closer to the waterfall and get drenched yourself just by sitting right next to the mainstream, you need to have a bit of energy and power as you need to climb some steep rocks to make it. My personal suggestion of you are adventure lover is it is a must visit.
