One of the very famous Government hospital in the area. Having limited parking facility. The hospital is situated on a hill. Like most government hospitals it is also having the same problems of cleanliness. Having good doctors is the key importance of the hospital. 24 hour ambulance facility is available here.

Laboratory facility is not good because of lack of employees. Blood test reports will get from lab after waiting more than 4 hours. Hospital faculties wasting their time by talking to each other & time passing in mobile phones. Some times you didn't get the lab test reports in one day. Why government not ensuring efficiency of lab incharges in this case. Very bad experience in many times. No timings for anything. Irresponsible faculties destroying faith in government hospitals.

This Hospital has been serving the local public for more than half a century or even more , it was established as a public health centre of Mallappally, later upgraded to a Hospital almost 40 years back, infrastructure and staffing still an issue here as it lacks world class facilities and clinicians. Recommend for treating minor illnesses and injuries.
