The lake water is very dirty, need to clean properly and regularly, then only can attract tourists, as the view is beautiful.

If your in the area maybe pop by just to get a bit of calm off the streets. Not worth a detour. Water is green and full of rubbish but a peaceful place

Talkatora lake is an artificial lake north of Jaipur City Palace. Talkatora means a bowl floating in a lake. Before Jaipur city came into existence, there was a large lake & a pond called Rajamal pond. When Sawai Jai Singh II built the palace complex, Talkatora lake was retained within palace complex & the Rajamal pond was left outside the palace complex for public use.
