Tal Chappar Blackbuck Sanctuary- safari - Wildlife park in Chhapar, Beer Chhapar Rural - Churu, India

Tal Chapar is a heaven for wild life & bird lovers. Best thing to do is to reach in afternoon and plan to spend the night in the night in the rest house. Early morning the next day, go for the sanctuary tour. The tonga rides are fun, however u can also book the electric ride cart online one day in advance. Restaurant is non functional so one needs to make food arrangements.

A must visit place for all bird and nature lovers. The sanctuary is located in Chhapar village, the nearest train station is Chhapar, but not many trains stop here. The main rail/bus connection is via Sujangarh which is about 14km away. Auto/cabs/buses are easily available for Chhapar from here, though not many buses ply after 6pm. The sanctuary is famous for its blackbuck population- there is no other place where u can see them as easily. Other attractions are the bird fauna, specially raptors. They allow only vehicles- hired or own cars, tongas and battery operated vehicles, no pedestrians are permitted. There is a forest rest house inside the park, but it was closed due to election work these days. The ecosystem is that of a dry grassland, much like African Savannah, with plenty of blackbucks. They should allow walking inside the park, in groups if needed. One should visit in winter only as it gets quite warm.Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and a camera with zoom!

Tal Chhapar is an ideal place to see Blackbucks which are more than a thousand in number here. It is a good place to see the desert animals and reptile species. The sanctuary is host to about 4,000 blackbucks, over 40 species of raptors and more than 300 species of resident and migratory birds. We went around the sanctuary on Tangas that costs minimal. The place holds scenic ponds/lakes, lush green carpets and too many species of both flora and fauna. Had a good time here with friends and family. Tour time : Approx. 2-3 hrs

Homeland for Black Bucks, it is an ideal place to see them. This sanctuary is a hidden gem for nature lovers and for photography enthusiasts, in an area considered to be an epitome of grass land, in the Shekhawati Region. With around 1000 Black bucks in the Sanctuary, you can see them freely roaming all around. Besides, we saw Neel Gais and some beautiful birds. You can take your car inside, and drive around on the path. You can even get off your car, with strict instructions to stay on the path, and not to get into the grass land. A must for inclusion in your bucket list.

Timing :- 6-8 am and 5-7 PM No personal cars allowed now. Only taanga is allowed. Taanga for two person will cost u around 700Rs.

Never knew we have this gem of a place right next to my Gramps town! Also, rajasthan is a great place. I can see now why ppl flock here from all over the globe. Helpful note - get a guide. He will make it worth it for you. Else you won't know what you are looking at and where to look at.

Very nice place for a nature lover where u can take your private car by paying a fees and entry charges. You can easily spot variety of deers, neel gaaye, jackal and birds. Best part is you have a liberty to take your car inside and enjoy it for whole day, there is no restriction. However, spending 1 hour or 1.5 hour is enough to cover complete sanctuary.

Tal chapar is home to blackbucks, this is a grassland area in chapar town, very beautiful ans scenic location, black bucks are roaming freely in hundreds, apart from black bucks there are boars, fox, desert cat, vultures, raptors, smaller birds, and many insects. If you are in a nearby area its a must visit place, try to reach early in morning, sunrise and sunsets look beautiful here.
