Our guide was awesome and seeing this ancient world wonder in person does not disappoint. I suggest using an agency like this dud to the fact that there are closures to the public for security, foreign dignitaries and other last minute reasons that an individual traveling alone would not be privy to. The agency gets a heads up from the Agra government and alerts their customers to the necessary changes to their schedules so that they do not miss out. This happened to us as the first lady of Myranmar came to visit the Taj. We were alerted by our guide at 10pm the night before that we should leave the hotel very early to get to the Taj and view it before they shut it down for the first lady's private visit. We left early, toured the Taj with a great and infamous guide named Raj and as we left at 1120am we passed through throngs of sad faces who did not know that the Taj was shut down for several hours in the middle of the day for a foreign dignitary. We lucked out because of our guide. Thanks!
