We had our lunch at its restaurant. I wouldn't say the taste was great. Although the person who served us was very cooperative and warm. He understood our preferences and served accordingly. They could work a little more on their cleanliness as the seat where we sat had leftover bits of food.
We are regular visitor here since my father-in-law's young age. All our family members love the dishes served here. Reasonable rate and neatly maintained. Service is also excellent
This is one of the best and oldest hotels in the city. For Dining in it is the best place. South Indian thali is very famous. On the other hand Banquet is also quite commodious the cuisines and are a varity one amd scrumptious. Must go for party fuctions. This is only for Vegetarians.
Have gone to CTC to get my laptop repaired. Incidentally it got late. We were searching for some eateries nearby and found Taj Mahal Hotel. The ambience was great. The food was of good quality and very tasty. Premises were hygienic. Staff were very hospitable. Great experience .
Had meals for lunch. It's a mixed experience. Quick service. Curry extra service was not too prompt. Taste was decent. No garlic is a boon for the pure traditional vegetarians. What was very disappointing was the very poor quality rice and small quantity.

Just had a meal here in the AC section. Service was good. Food turned cold instantly as the AC was super chilling. They have nice clean toilets. Good place for a family to enjoy a quiet meal.
Such a worst experience with the food (plate meals) in Taj hotel today. They have served broken rice and breakfast sambar for lunch. Before also me and my family used to come here for breakfast or lunch but never experienced this quality less and taste less food. I don't know why the quality of the food got decreased in such a top hotel Taj. I thought it would be better if I had my lunch in a small mess than here. Very much disappointed.
