Best place to visit in a lifetime. The entry is very nice and smooth. It is a very clean place. There are very old photographs of taj mahal and it's history on the east gate entry side. There are some shops and restaurants available as well. You can easily book the ticket online. Good place to visit with kids and family. You must have good camera for photography.
The entry system is so smooth. You can take a golf cart/rickshaw from the parking. Be sure to get shoe covers if you are planning to enter the mausoleum. You can take the golf cart back to the parking. Many shops outside Taj Mahal to shop for souvenirs. The place was very clean. Buy the tickets online for smooth entry and zero wait.
Wait time was surprisingly quick. We didn't book tickets in advance and we're able to buy after queuing a few minutes. There's a bit of waiting with security checks but generally a pretty efficient operation.
Must visit at least once in a lifetime to witness this marvellous structure. The humongous structure with four towers has white marble carved with billion artistic designs, surrounded by lush green lawns and blue water canals.
This is located in river bank of yamuna. Entry tickets fee is 50 rupees and 250 if you want to go upto the second stage. Always crowded with people not only from India and also from all over the world. It was built by the mohal emperor shajahan long back . The place is neat and clean and well maintained by the administration of the Taj Mahal. The security guards are checking with metal detectors while entering into the place. Too many small size shops are available and all kinds of things are available in the shops. Restaurant facilities and rest room facilities are also available near this place. Too many guides and photographers are available on payment basis.
One of the entry gate of taj mahal it has 3 sides gate south, east and west. South gate remains closed. We entered from East gate. It has a small museum type entry where you can find all old photos of taj mahal. Some shopping and restaurants also available in this area

Full of scammers, Avoid buying stuff n eating anything except water n coconut water. Hire a guide just for 500 then if want a photographer who charges 70 per photo, get 4 photos printed at 4 unique location in taj, make sure they delete rest of the photos from their camera
