Rooms, food and the overall experience were excellent. However, in the restaurant, A lady declined to give a finger bowl after lunch and asked me to go down to the washroom to wash my hands. No one would remove used plates and bowls from the table. Staff had to be called and requested to do so. Disposable wooden spoons, not stainless steel cutlery, were provided for having dessert.

Nice, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are pleasant and the service is good. which is beautiful and definitely worth the visit but it an hour away from the hotel. It does feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. The reason I'm giving it a three star rating is because of the sheer lack of facilities and activities on offer. Everything there is excellent but it just lacks things to do and is difficult of access.
One of the best night food i ever had.. slightly overpriced. 2 porotas and a chicken curry costed me Rs230. But the food was worth the money. A single curry can be easily shared by 2-3 persons. The kerala state SRTC bus i was traveling to Bangalore from kasaragod stopped in this hotel for dinner at around 11.30pm and the food was served freshly prepared and tasted great.. Neat and family friendly toilets.. Super ambiance
One of the best budget friendly hotel. I recently stayed at this resort and spa, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived. The staffs were well mannered and attentive also served us patiently with a smile. a good traditional authentic food. We ordered only few items and everything was super tasty .The resort grounds were well-maintained and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The spa services were top-notch. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was always fresh and delicious.
A true taj experience, they just don't disappoint you and make sure your holiday is joyful. Ever smiling and never say no attitude of the staff make it even better. The location of the property is breathtaking. Especially the view from the reception area and the temperature controlled infinite pool. They also do have a regular pool. The room sizes are good and very comfortable. The only let down is that walking around the property by foot is a little difficult as it's in the hill, but they make up for it with buggy service. They just arrive with in 5 mins. They do have a few extra paid activities like zip line, boating etc. Food is also very good.

Everyone who works at the hotel is welcoming and friendly! The rooms were beautiful (one of our rooms was #21, and it was spacious, with old-style charm and a specular view of the bell tower and the river). Breakfast at the hotel is well worth getting. They have a good variety of food, and the cakes are all homemade. We asked for recommendations for local restaurants, and we went to a different one each night we were there, and they were all fabulous (they had traditional Italian food with a great atmosphere and spirited waiters). There are a lot of stairs to deal with, but if you are up for them, this hotel is a real gem. The central location was convenient for walking everywhere. Andrea, the manager, will take good care of you!
