Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, Kovalam - Hotel in Vattappara, Thiruvananthapuram - Thiruvananthapuram, India

This was one of my extremely memorable stays. The property is really beautiful. The beach side lagoon the boating. The beach itself the gardens around it. Various activities like kite, flying evening tea safe booty making pizza, the swimming pool, the yummy food ( very expensive though) was all really outstanding. This is a must visit place and will look forward to be here again!

Very dissatisfied with the dealing of the Reception. Anu Parvati from reservations was rude and behaved as if she owned the property. Highly disappointed. Otherwise a beautiful place to stay and F&B staff was cordial and they put up a great show. Poor service just because of one person spoiling the reputation of the property.

Loved the stay at Taj Green Cove. The staff took utmost care in giving us a wonderful experience for my wife's birthday. It's a gorgeous property near the beach. One thing which can be improved upon is the taste and variety in food options. Highly recommended place.

We had an incredible stay at Taj Kovalam, even with the rain adding its own charm to the experience. The property is a lush oasis, with plenty of activities to enjoy, from boating in the lagoon to cycling. Taking a leisurely walk by the sea was a highlight. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff, especially Jasmine, made our stay even more enjoyable with their exceptional service. We can't wait to return

It was a really great and memorable stay. We booked a room with plunge pool and it was amazing. The view from the room was serene. The bait restaurant is amazing for dinner. The staff makes sure to attend you politely and provide great food suggestions that really takes the experience to next level. Room service is really awesome. The spa experience was also very nice. We loved everything about the place.

Had an amazing experience. Visited this property for 2 days. Room was good, food was nice. Evening snacks and the sunset is something no one should miss. The best part for me was their hospitality. We had early morning flight and landed before time. I had an important meeting and they arranged room wifi before time in such short span of time. This property will definitely be my first preference if visit again

The services are good and you can spend a great evening there . Bait , the seaside restaurant is good and for vegetarians there are plenty of options plus we can watch the sunsets (it's so pretty) . The main restaurants are also pretty nice and the staff are very friendly! Living in Thiruvananthapuram and having beautiful places like Kovalam and having a great place like this is really nice!!

Taj Kovalam is a lovely property just 30 minutes away from Thiruvananthapuram. The property while on the seashore doesn't have an accessible beach. The nearest beach is at least 15 mins away by car. On the property itself there are nicely designed cottages in a tropical garden setting. You can also walk over to the seaside area of the property where they serve high tea at 530 with snacks and a lovely view of the lagoon and the seashore. The lagoon is beautiful and you get a complimentary boat ride. There are cycles also for cycling around this area. There are few amenities for kids other than cycles, a chess and carrom board, which is unlike most other Taj properties I have seen. In terms of food, be sure to ask for a traditional sadya meal a day in advance, which is simply divine. There are only two restaurants which are to be honest very average and underwhelming. The breakfast spread was good and standard. The service is mostly good but in the bait restaurant, it is a bit under serviced. I am not sure why five stars don't keep adequate manpower as sometimes it takes forever to get someone to your table to place an order. A couple of sore points - be sure to check the bill as we discovered a long Island ice tea added to our bill when we had just ordered a plain ice tea. The rooms were very comfortable. Just be careful with mosquitoes. Also, there is an annoying alarm light that keepa flickering all night. Overall Kovalam is a lovely place. Be careful while going to the local beaches as they may not used to t seeing women in swim wear (probably safer to dress conservatively).
