Taj Fisherman's Cove Resort & Spa Chennai - Hotel in Chennai, Kovalam - Chengalpattu, India

I had an amazing time at this fancy hotel! The view of the blue ocean, comfy rooms, and really nice staff made my stay awesome. The hotel had cool extras like a spa and great food places. I totally recommend it for a super relaxing and fancy vacation!

Expensive and not satisfying. Staff untrained and lack professionalism. some staff are good. Food quality is average. Property is beautiful with vast gardens and adjoining clean beach. Hope a great conglomerate like Tata group rectify these things

Only reason I booked this place is because of the Brand. But I think this place needs a lot of work. Service at restaurants is really terrible. Front desk/Guest Services is way below expected. Definitely not the service standard one expects from Tata Group. No doubt, people are friendly and hospitable but poorly organized (example, plates and left over food is left outside the room don't picked up for a day or even more). Overall, for the price they charge, service quality is really bad. Place and ambience is awesome, beach is accessible and pretty clean. Food is tasty but the drinks are priced exorbitant.

Just 2 KM away from my Home. Stayed there for 2 dates with my family to enjoy the resort. The most amazing resort with very special mention to the great service provided by every staff member there. The faculties are excellent with the lifeguard manned beach forming part of the property. The recreation facilities are excellent and well equipped for that's on offer. The food choices are amazing including the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. The rooms are excellent in all the ranges. We didn't use the villas but the sea view ones definitely were enticing. We were a couple of young child families and really enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful resort that is starting to age a bit. While the cottages are definitely the highlight, they also could be a bit more spacious. From the last 3 stays here, speed of service can definitely be better for a 5 star resort. Despite all this, we always have a great experience. As most will agree the name Taj carries a lot of expectation, perhaps the reason for 4 star rating and not 5.

Great property and a private beach. Amazing place to walk through the evening and enjoy the breeze. The beach is clean and one can spend hours staring at the waves. There is a feel good factor about the place along with great staff and food
