I had the pleasure of staying at the Taj Connemara recently, and I must say that the customer service provided by the support staff was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request truly made my visit memorable. However, it's important to note that while the service was outstanding, the rooms in the hotel are in need of significant renovation work. Despite the room's less than ideal condition, the exceptional service from the staff did make up for it to a certain extent. I hope that the hotel management considers investing in room renovations to match the high standards of their customer service in the near future.

Basically, you will live in Taj in Jinnai. This one is quieter than the TajClub opposite, next to the Spencer Mall. Because of the itinerary change, I placed two orders on Ctrip to book a room. Upon arrival, the front desk thoughtfully helped to upgrade to a suite, so there was no need to change rooms. The suite is large and the bed is comfortable enough. The most caring thing is the careful care of the cleaning every day, not to mention the cleanliness, but also the fresh flowers prepared every day. The restaurant's morning and evening buffets are rich. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome!

It's in the heart of the city and is highly accessible. Definitely well maintained, However the interiors need to be redone.The interior looks like 100yr old (Near and tidy) If not much please change the floor carpet,It's begging for a change The furniture,the lighting is just OK

A hotel from a bygone era. A timeless classic. The warmth and hospitality is beyond compare. Excellent rooms, and what stands out is some of the old staff who have been there for years. I dined at their coffee shop and was having a buffet dinner sometime back. I had a dosa which was part of the buffet. Just a plain dosa was so exquisite that was almost in tears while I was savouring it. You would never believe that a dosa can be made so perfect, tasty and gratifying.

Booked directly with full payment and requested for 2 rooms to be beside each other as travelling with family. Ended up being given a room facing aircond vent and not a room beside family.just got me so annoyed. So was given a second flr nice room following rejection of one room. Salim assisted with giving a room beside my family the next day but we just remained back in the same room. Thanks to him. Advise do not take room 180 , as the view is just aircond vents from balcony. Verandah the staffs were lovely, special thanks to Rishab** sorry if name mistake , he Was extremely nice and helpful. Knowing what the customer wants in advance. Like the coffee you take. There was Another lady too that was really kind and helpful too. The lady connmera bar the staffs were really nice too. Overall the service at reception can be improved.

Stayed there 2 months ago Very conveniently located and very good service But the rooms are another story We were given a windowless dark and musty smelling room for a 3 people ! I was also told that particular wing has many similar rooms ! Was there on an overnight business trip so didn't spend too much time in there fortunately and had no time to go through the banalities of changing a room . The guest relations manager made the effort to ask us at breakfast and was apologetic about it but extended no DISCOUNTS to us . Knowing the legendary hospitality and hotel standards of the TAJ HOTELS this came as a shock !

Beautiful antique type hotel, which is still well maintained. The grandeur is something different from other hotels. Food quality is also good. Have not given 5 star because you can see some of the old carpet, table, chairs etc. Those could be renovated or replaced.

Hospitality 10/10 . We were in the luxury room that was very comfortable and beautiful. 10/10 Outdoor Pool - wow , 10/10 Breakfast Buffet - 8/10, Less options than other Taj/5 stars.and small sitting area Hotel space /collections overall -10/10 Best stay in Chennai .
