Best and well maintained park.. enough space for parking, walking, jogging exercise etc.,
This is one of the most well planned and structured park that I have ever seen. It is big and has ample room for holding in a large crowd without efforts. The maintenance of this park is absolutely fantastic and it takes a lot of effort to keep such a huge place clean. Just entering this place gives us a feeling of serenity that is very hard to find as most of the places are jam packed with loads of loud people and vehicles. A must visit if you are a person who likes to start your day with a morning walk. Fun Fact: Try to visit the park in the evening after sunset. The light show on the fountain is incredible.
One of the best parks in Chennai. Well maintained. It's open now, aftre Covid lock-down. timings are 5 am - 10 am and 4 pm - 9 pm. The machines meant for exercising are not open. The round small roofed shed with benches is also not open. Still, one can go for walking. The children's park is open. The badminton court is open (only for members). Kendriya Vihar has 3 blocks A, B & C. Each block has three separate parks. A block park just surrounded by all A block houses and it's always lively. You can see kids playing in front of our houses safely. I love this park most.
