Tadoba Homestay Cottage - Indoor lodging in Moharli - Chandrapur, India

Had a very pleasant stay at Tadoba Homestay cottage. Rooms are quite decent as per the budget with clean bathrooms. Mr Suleiman and Mrs Shahnaiz were tremendous hosts with no complaints about their hospitality. The homestay is very close to Moharli and Junona safari gates and pickup and drop from doorstep makes early morning safari comfortable. Food is homely and tasty. If you are looking for a budget homestay near to Moharli zone, look no further, tadoba homestay cottatge ticks all the boxes

Been to Tadoba thrice and stayed in Tadoba Home stay cottages twice!! This is at a walkable distance from the safari gate! Rooms are well maintained, clean and really comfortable for both individuals and family style accommodations. Food options are limited and mostly Maharashtrian style fare. Food is very tasty home cooked and well priced! This is located very near the gates so safari pick ups are done from the doorstep with a very short time to reach the starting point! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning on traveling with friends or family!!

The best place I have stayed in India so far! The accommodation is both beautiful (painted with trees and easy on the eyes colours) and well placed to access the safari via Moharli gate. I can also wholeheartedly recommend eating at the homestay since the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. There is no Wi-Fi or signal (for Airtel) so be prepared to pass the time with other enjoyable activities such as kayaking on the lake or reading on the rooftop. Thank you for hosting our stay.

The owners are a very kind and warmhearted family. They care about us like family. Clean rooms , good atmosphere. Good food and service. Walkable distance from Moharli core gate.

What does one expect when they visit a place like Tadoba? To sight wild animals in their natural habitat especially Tigers. Next, to have a comfortable and pleasant stay on your trip. Well Tadoba Homestay offers you the best of both, comfortable stay and great food. First of all i have to mention that both Sulaiman sir and Shehnaaz mam are the best hosts around Tadoba. They make you feel special. Our stay was comfortable and homely. Both mam and sir served us fresh and hot meals which were delicious and simply awesome to taste. We had no problems to reach Moharli gate as it is well within a walkable distance. You get facilities like Instant hot water, AC and great Ambiance. I am surely returning back again with family and friends. Definately recommended for everyone.

If you want to enjoy the rustic nature & simplicity of village life, then this is the place to be. Special mention to Shahanaz Madam's warm hearty meals that she cooked for us. Apart from being a hard-working forest guide, she is an amazing host along with her son (Sahil) & husband (Suleiman Sir). Their hospitality, behaviour & knowledge regarding the forest deserves a lot of appreciation. The location of this homestay is also very close to the Moharli gate & they arrange jeep pickup for safari as well. This place is highly recommended for everyone visiting Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.

Clean and simple air-conditioned rooms in Moharli village, very close to the safari gate. Excellent home-cooked food -- the best you'll have at Moharli. Shahnaaz and Suleiman are perfect hosts. Shahnaaz is also one of the best tourist guides around and knows the forest like the back of her hand.

Tadoba Homestay Cottage is the perfect place to stay when visiting Tadoba Tiger Reserve. Suleman and Shahanaz Baig are fantastic and very knowledgable hosts. Mrs. Shahanaz was the first woman guide in Maharashtra and has, therefore, lots of experience guiding safaris in Tadoba. We absolutely enjoyed our four days stay at the homestay and the hospitallity of all the family! As we were a family of four we used two rooms and both were very clean and nicely decorated with Suleman paintings. The home-made food was fresh and delicious and served in the dining room (on the bottom floor). There is a nice terrace too! The homestay is very well located, in the center of the tiny Moharli village and just 500m away from the entrane to Moharli core zone and less than 1km from the entrance to Junona buffer zone. Between morning and evening safaris you can explore the close surroundings and do some birdwatching (never venturing into the jungle!). By the village there is a beautiful lake (with crocodiles) and small farming fields. All the area is rich in fauna since you are never more than a few hundred meters from the reserve corea and buffer zones. We will certainly go back to Tadoba Homestay if we visit India on a next ocassion! We already miss it!
