Poor spirit to bully Tara House, Bir because of their name. No one is going to be confused about the two. Taara is not Tara, you should consider removing your review from their page BTW, Tara was the name of their dog. Also goddess Tara of Tibetan Buddhism.
With a Pine Forest as background and the spectacular Himalayas as foreground, Taara House is a labor of love and done completely by the family. Nestled on a 6600 feet hilltop, the cottage is just 3km away from the city centre and 1/2km from the iconic Hadimba Temple. Done up in classic and mid-modern style, the two bedroom cottage is made of reclaimed/recycled wood and the piece de resistance is the glass house for dining under the stars or even indulging in some sunbathing! Design connoisseurs will also appreciate the use of Burma Teak, English Oak, and Pine. The bedrooms are spacious and stylish. Highlights include; Scandinavian light fixtures, customized furniture by ANTHOLOGIE DESIGN and fine art collection.
The views of the property were great and as advertised but the heating systems were not working. There was a lack of response from the owners and the caretakers of the property which made us cut our trip short and leave. I would recommend other cottages in Manali as this one surely has faults but no resolutions.
Taara House was on our check list for quite sometime. We decided to celebrate our 7th Anniversary here and totally loved the decision. The place is much beautiful than it reflects in the picture. Perfect place to unwind from the day to day city life. Most of our time was spent in the glass house reading books, drinking wine & coffee and admiring the views while doing nothing. The care taker Pawanji took really good care of us. Forgot to mention the best part, both of us being dog lovers we had a great time with the three in house trained and obedient dogs. Will make sure to visit again .
A perfect place for visiting in winters. If you're planning to go for a chill trip proly the best place. The house is on a bit height giving a really good view. Can totally consider it as the best vacation spot especially in winters. For winters it has required heaters around the house keeping you warm and giving you all the comfort. It's really good for this rate and totally worth it. They also provide food service which is no doubt too good. They've all the required amenities and a really good service.
Everything from - extraordinary aesthetics of Taara House to such a humble and warm welcome by the caretakers and chef of this cottage - was more than what we could ask for. The whole experience and service was fantastic. Thanks. Would love to come back again soon! :)
For an out of the world experience, well within this world, nestled in the Himalayas, reconnect with your soul at Taara House. Every time I want a quiet respite from the maddening world I book myself into this beautiful experience. Highly recommend it to everyone looking for a little slice of heaven
We stayed at this place during this new year 2019. We stayed there for 3-4 days. The place is beautiful the rooms are nice and cozy. You get a cook who comes and cooks you breakfast and dinner. The staff was very polite and friendly. As it was the rush season there was not enough time to do maintenance work and hence we faced some issues like dripping pipes, having no water suddenly one morning as the water in the pipes froze after snow fall. So yes if all these small things also would have been kept in consideration would have definitely given them a 5 star. Rest assured would definitely advice you to give it a try. Keep smiling.
Nous recommandons vivement Woodcrest. Nous avons ete accueillis > par le proprietaire qui est adorable. Il organise des balades jusqu'a d'autres cottages qu'il possede ainsi que des diners et soirees pour les soirs de pleine lun

This place is truly the best!!! The tent and cabin sites are limited so you are not on top of each other and have a lot of privacy. it's truly unique! The owners are the best! I've been coming here with my friends multiple times a year for 7 years!!!

This hospital is one of the best hospital in Manali. This treatment cost is also one of the biggest factor why it is best. good with patient and as well as attendant . The doctors are good and best behaviour also. They give you best service .
Beautiful little Dhaba, on the way down to the river in Old Manali. Uma makes the most delicious Siddu and great Masala Chai. Shes a lovely lady, so friendly and good atmosphere there. Recommended stopping by to try her famous Siddu.
I recently visited The Parlour and experienced outstanding service. The owner were attentive, friendly, and provided exceptional care throughout my visit. I highly recommend The Parlour for their excellent service.
This little cottage is the most serene place I have ever been to in India. I highly recommend this place if you need to refresh your mind and soul to the fullest
