At any moment, I will recommend Swetaranya if you are looking for an authentic Ayurvedic treatment. I have followed Ayurvedic treatments before and was recommended to Dr. Trivikraman and his team by one of my previous Doctors. As I was not able to travel back home, this was a realistic option for my treatment away from home. Dr Trivikraman and his team are highly skilled and passionate about their patients well being and road to recovery. My long time chronic lower back pain and digestive issues were successfully treated and cured. Old sporting injuries along with current lifestyle changes had made the condition unbearable, however this is no longer the case for me. I depart from Swetaranya feeling rejuvenated and with a renewed sense of believe in my health and wellbeing. We started the treatment according to the roots of Ayurvedic principles explained by Dr. Trivikraman, we worked together to get to the root cause of the issue and fixing the symptoms at its core and working towards the symptomatic pain issues. The treatment consist of Yoga practice combined with organic diets and medications. Food is cooked and served freshly at the premise. Overall Dr Trivikraman and his team's care made me feel very at home (despite being a hospital) and I appreciate the dynamics of how it takes an entire team, from the doctors, therapist, chefs and supporting staffs to nurture a patient back to their full health. I am impressed by their principals and true to value practice of Ayurveda. There was no gimmick or an hint of commercialisation of the practice through out my stay here. Dr Trivikraman is very patient and always takes his time to share his vision and answer any question one may have at any time. My parting advices is for anyone is to trust the process, have patience and follow the advice given, result will follow!

I stayed with Dr. Thrivikraman and his team for 8 weeks. I have several very serious diseases and did not come with the expectation to get cured, but improve my condition. I chose this Ayurveda Ashram, because i was looking for an authentic , traditional and affordable Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment in a natural, relaxing and private environment which is not designed for touristic needs. And this is exactly what i found. Dr. Thrivikraman is very experienced, professional and kin. He (or his partner (the "lady doctor" , how she is called by the staff;-) is consulting the patients every day and takes his time for a chat and every question you may have. The place only offers 5 rooms, so even if they all would be occupied by couples there will not be more than 10 patients at once). Every morning there is One hour Yoga and Meditation class, which is part of the healing plan.The vegetarian food is just delicous - freshly cooked every day with organic ingredients from the garden. The rooms are simple but tasteful, the living area is incredibly peaceful, especially the old temple around the corner is a joy to visit - i went there daily during my walking routine in the morning. The whole staff is very professional, frindly and helpful and the prices of the treatments are more than reasonable (Rooms without aircondition about 4000 RS a day at the time i stayed). If you wish Dr. T will arrange a pick up from the airport (about RS 2000/- from Calicut, 4000/- from Cochin) so there is all taken care of. In case you feel unsure just contact Dr. T via Mail - he will personally answer all your questions carefully (i wrote him more than 8 mails before coming and he responded each of them very detailed, which helped me a lot in making up my mind to stay there). You should consider, that this is a place for people who look for serious treatment but no amusement holiday. That means no TV (even though there are TVs in the room its not recommended at all during treatment), not too much deflection in general, participating in the Yoga classes, going to bed early (9-10) and getting up early (around 5-6). You should only go there if you are really willing to go for a physical and spiritual journey and follow the instructions of the Doctor. I would recommend this place a 100 % and really hope they managed to survive the Corona crisis. I sure hope to come back one day for a few weeks for Panchakarma. I have visited Swetaranaya two times for Panch Karma treatment and both the times my experience has been outstanding. Dr. Thrivikraman personally attends to all patients and answers all the questions with lot of patience. Staff members are qualified and knowledgeable .They use only pure ingredients for the treatment. During my stay not only I could detoxify but also rejuvenate my body and mind as I was surrounded by lush green fields and eating delicious home cooked food. The experience has been holistic in nature and one that I would recommend every one to go through. For me Swetaranya is a second home!

I have been here for four weeks to treat my wife. My wife was always troubled by asthma cough but I am very relaxed after treatment here. Dr. Thivik Raman is a very good and practical experienced Ayurveda doctor. The staff and therapies are all very good and professional. Overall, there is a very good atmosphere for treatment here. Clean and well maintained rooms are available for the patients and what is the food. Say love is also served here along with food. The doctor's wife cooks pure vegetarian food with her own hands and serves it with love. If you are looking for a good and true Ayurvedic treatment then I would advise you to stay here and in the family environment. Hi I am Valsala Sajin 2019 started for me badly coz I felt sevier backpain and took aloepathic treatment for 3 months. But I didn't get relief from my problem. At that time I heard about Swetaranya Ayurvedasram and reached there. Dr. Thrivikraman Sir consulted me and advised admission for 14 days treatment. Dr Thrivikraman Sir has very caring personality and he hearing every patients problems with calm and quite.His patience will appreciated. The staffs are very friendly and helpful and Dr's wife Ajitha Madam has vary honourable character with everyone. I felt mind relaxation from there. We were there for 3 weeks. We throughly enjoyed the our stay at swetaranya. Idle place for Simple, holistic, natural living experience. Morning yoga, visiting temple, ayurvedic massage everyday, friendly staff and homely and safe environment made our stay very comfortable. My husband knee issue, my skin issues were taken care. Highly recommended..
