Sweet Lake - Swimming lake in Paliyem - North Goa, India

Water at the sweet lake is flowing into the sea now due to this the density of water has decreased. It isn't the same as before. Previously, there was a pool of water in which we could sit and chill, but now the water level has reduced. It has a beautiful tree cover surrounding it. Small fishes were also present in this lake.

Visited for the first time, sweet water Lake at arambol is an offsite location. Quiet and peaceful with very few tourists. You can also try mid bath, relaxing and refreshing.

This place is very close to my heart ,I had been regular here since past 13 years . the view here is serene , peaceful and quiet ,people can start a trek to big banyan tree towards the spring inside the jungle . this place is very popular among stoners . it is secluded from main Arambol Beach , you have to walk for 15 - 20 minutes to reach here from main Arambol Beach in the north direction.

Sweet and Small lake actually not Sweet and Not Small....It is salty greenish lake that seems very clean but when you will see the reality then you will not wish to enter in it because the person who apply Multani Mitti on skin , after drying it in sunlight on beach they enters in this Sweet lake to remove it....so it is very Ungly for me...

Sweet lake is a serene spot, not so crowder in this season. The trail starts from one of the stair from the beach to the right end of the beach, you have to walk through narrows places in between the shops to reach, along with the nice view of the Sea, beware of the crossing just before the sweet lake, it will make you all wet some times,you can swim in the lake but follow the instructions of lifeguards.

Yes, it has all the possibilities to be a GREAT place BUT the trash is too much. The business men on that area could understand that a cleaner area would bring more tourists, and more tourists means more money for their business. PLEASE pick up the trash and KEEP GOA CLEAN !
