Visiting Binsar Mahadev for the evening aarti was a truly special experience. Arriving as the sun was setting, the atmosphere was serene and tranquil. The temple's surroundings were quiet, and we felt a sense of calm as we approached. As the aarti began, the temple bells rang gently, and the priests chanted hymns. The flickering flames created a peaceful ambiance, and the smell of incense filled the air. It was a beautiful moment of connection and devotion, as people gathered to participate in the ritual. The aarti itself was a simple yet powerful ceremony. It felt like a collective meditation, where everyone's focus was on the divine presence. The whole experience was a reminder of the importance of taking a pause from our busy lives to connect with something greater. Binsar Mahadev's evening aarti offers a chance to experience a sense of unity and spirituality. It's a peaceful way to end the day and feel a connection with the traditions and practices that have been carried on for generations.
Har har Mahadev Bindeshwar Mahadev Temple, also known as Binsar Devta or simply Binsar, is an ancient Hindu rock temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, worshipped as Bindeshwar, a popular deity in this region. At an altitude of 2480 meters above mean sea level, it is situated in Bisaona village, which falls in the Chauthan region of Thalisain Block in the Pauri Garhwal District of the Indian state of Uttarakhand.[1] This temple is set amidst dense forests of birch, deodar and rhododendron.[2] The original temple structure held great archaeological significance, but it was demolished by politicians in order to create a new structure. The central chamber of the temple features the idols of Ganesha, Shiva-Parvati and Mahishasuramardini. A fair is organized there on Vaikuntha Chaturdashi every year.

Har Har Mahadev Great hindu temple at beautiful location with spiritual environment. Surrounded by green trees and peaceful location. Temple is well maintained .
We were on the way from Pratiksha River Retreat, Jim Corbett to Chevron Eco Lodge at Kausani.Binsar Mahadev Mandir was just a few Kilometers from the main road and as we were told it was a place worth visiting so we diverted and went to see Swargashram Binsar Mahadev Mandir.Built-in a beautiful location amid dense and lush deciduous forest white and red complex Swargashram Binsar Mahadev Mandir stands out.About six or seven temples have been constructed in a very small area. After reaching the temples on the first floor, reached after climbing a staircase, one feels that they have been built on top of the other two temples as one can see the top half of the shikhara of those temples sticking out of the floor courtyard in front of these temples. When we went there a fairly large family was conducting a ceremonial puja and there was an atmosphere of faith and reverence. We also took darshan of most of the Gods residing there and sought their blessings.Architecturally there is nothing worth mentioning. The way seemed to have been built one on top of the other in a hotchpotch way. No thought seemed to have been given to the esthetics of temple building. The amount of satisfaction in visiting this place would be directly proportional to the faith of the individual.A lost opportunity to build something nice.
Highly devotional and peaceful place. It is surrounded by the nature and around 18 Km from Ranikhet. It is a must visit place.
