Swami Vivekananda Statue - Sculpture in Rajkot - Rajkot, India

This statue stands in tribute to Swami Vivekananda, the Hindu monk credited with introducing Hinduism to the wider world outside of Asia. The statue depicts Vivekananda standing in traditional Hindu monk attire and wearing a turban. He holds a long walking stick in his right hand, but with a static pose, with a pensive and peaceful look. The statue is not a must see in Rajkot, but it is located close to Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama and Ramakrishna Mission spiritual movement to which he is associated.
