Awesome place for swimmers and divers. Preferred only for good swimmers, the depth is very high nearly 20-30 ft its better for beginners to with safety guards. Trekkers should be adaptable to all the insects and snakes in water :) . Lovely place to enjoy after a long trek. Cooking is permitted here. Please ensure to protect the environment as well, do not throw plastic in the mountain as there are already so many left in the mountain.

Good place for trekkers and nature lovers... But need to walk an hour after you park your vehicles.. be prepared before you start from home. No shops around the place. Nice photographic places and much more. Beware of small snakes while walking into the forest...

There is many other falls near by which is worth this is just like a swimming pool. Small kids can enjoy this place elders would expect a better place. Unfortunately If you visit this place try to go up as much as possible so that you can enjoy a bit. This place was dry less water is active available. You could try other falls which give a perfect trekking experience .

This Falls is also known by the name "Aare Falls". There are no sign boards to lead us towards the falls. We have to drive off-road for 15-20mins to reach the base camp of the falls. The weather is very harsh during the summer. There are no local shops, so carry your own food and water. The falls is temporarily closed from 20th May 2019, due to a visitor's death. Pros: Not a crowded place. Cons: No proper Parking option. Falls is closed most of the days. The roads are very bad. Trekking shoes are must if u go by walk.

One of the places spoilt by irresponsible tourism. Used to be a pristine forest few years back, now a dump yard of liquor bottles and plastic wastes. Despite the clean up effort by environmental conservation groups, filth gets piled up as there is no system for checking and preventing people throwing garbage in the stream and trail

One of the water falls near Chennai. Plan well and go with a group of people. Have to walk atleast 4 kilometres to reach the small current of water. The water ways was around 17 kilometres long and you can find a comfortable place for your group. Guides are charging huge amount of money, so don't ask them for a guidance. If you are planning for a night stay then you must ask help from a guide. Plan for a trip in the weekend of rainy season so that the water level will be good. No hotels/restaurant are available. You have to buy your food near periyapalayam or uthukottai if you are traveling from Chennai, northern part of tamilnadu. Open Parking available. Safe for vehicles. They will charge a reasonable price. Have a great fun.

People! Please I beg you, please don't pour liquors & throw garbages here, please. It'll spoil the atmospheric condition of this beautiful place. If you find any garbages please don't hesitate to collect it & throw somewhere else in the dustbins near the village. Thank you!
