Well spacious hostel. 24 hour security facility available. Dining hall in ground floor. Foods are excellent. Menus are attractive. Vegetarian food only available. Outside food also not allowed. CC TV camera facility available in entrance, dining, office area& important place. RO water available before food court. Hot water facility available in bath room. A/C & Non A/C rooms are available. Rent is quite expensive but worth for that. 3 sharing room non A/C rent is 9000/ month. Very good safe place for working women, girl students.
Hi...this is a very honest review to the newcomers....I am forever grateful to this hostel for giving me acid refluxes and ulcer...they don't have wifi facility just to make sure that you stay at peace....kindly do not feel that the taps in the dinning hall is not working....they are making sure that the water is not wasted even though you don't have the intention to waste...last but not the least....do not feel that the rent is too high....because I am very sure that you guys are clever enough that you will find a better way... Cheers!!
I have been in this hostel for 7 years and I can say this is one of the best hostel in Chennai.The warden here took care of me like her own child she is very compassionate.The food served here is very hygenic and tasty.The breakfast served need a special star I really gonna miss that pongal.This hostel is situated with all the amenities near by.The atmosphere is very homely. The place is very secure to stay for girls. The staff here takes good care no matter what in floods cyclones any pandemic situation they take good care of the girls. Just try this hostel once u can never think of any other hostel further.
I take immense pleasure in writing this about the hostel which is a home away from home.ln these times of lockdown,we stayed in the hostel which gave us an immense sense of well-being and security. The crisis could be,floods or pandemic, the hostel is ever ready to provide shelter,quality food and a sense of well-being. Warden is cheerful,friendly and ever ready to address any issue that concerns us. The management is benign,magnanimous and provides quality care to its inmates.I am grateful to be associated with Swagatham.

Nice and calm place for peaceful stay. Most caretaking warden and we were taken care very well during lock down period.we felt as same as staying in our home. Especially we are fans for Mothagam that served during sankadahara chathurthi...
Homely and safe atmosphere with Indian traditional adherence. We applaud the management,owner Mr. Madhukumar sir and Mrs. Krithika Madhukumar for their care toward inmates.special appreciation for taking care of inmates during disaster flood and pandmic. Festival season knocks our door to rejoice and rejenuvate us. To note about food and hygiene, well maintained. If it's hostel warden plays a major role , the eversmiling and optimistic person shows internal care for every inmates. Thank you
