My family and I have been going to Hotel Kinara in Ponda for a very long time. This time was no different. But we came to know that Kinara had closed down in Covid Lockdown. And one of the partners opened another restaurant called Swagath just 500mts away in the same lane. We ordered PRAWNS THALI, POMFRET THALI, KINGFISH THALI, SQUID RAVA FRY, CRAB MASALA AND TISRYO (SHELL FISH) MASALA. It was the best meal I've had since I came to goa 2 days back. Everything was perfect. The crabs, even though small, were extremely juicy and full of meat. The prawns were a little small, but very well seasoned. The thalis are enough food for one person. The squid was huge and so delicious and perfectly cooked. It is a must visit, for sure.
The best place for fish thali as well as Vegetarian thali. Love fish fry, kalya watachye sambar samake amgele style. Must to visit place when you are in Goa. Previously this place was known as a Kinara now Swagath.
Good restaurant for fish and veg thali.Space is small but has limited menu and fast service.It can be seen easily from road.Right next to Apollo pharmacy.
The photo is taken from inside Swagath restaurant or erstwhile Kinara Restaurant. Super tasty food for most reasonable rates. Love their tisrya masala..the crab and the fish curry. Make sure to go out of ur way and try their cuisine. Donot have the Sol kadi as it was too sweet for my taste.
A very good place for no nonsense authentic going food especially seafood The service is fast also there are limited items on the menu , reasonable rates A must visit
One of best options for a ( seafood ) fish thali in ponda city, variety of fish to chose in thali like pomphret chonak, usually crowded during lunch, rates are reasonable

You can get fresh fish here if you're lucky. The taste of fish curry is average.
