This is perfect mess for the students who afford some extra budget for good food.. Taste is nice and you get unlimited food (without annoying watch from owner which happened to me in other mess). Menu of everyday is different and they also provide buttermilk everyday, they give you warm bhakri and chapatis...Visiting this mess is value for money.. Overall experience is good (attached image is their puran poli dish)

If you are starving for pure Maharashtrian homelike food then you gotta eat here. Simple delicious Maharashtrian food at affordable prices. They serve authentic Maharashtrian snacks like Kothimnhir Wade, kuradai, aaluwadi, Kanda bhaji. Owner is very cool and staff provides good service. Few popular dish are Suki Bhendi, Shev bhaji, methi bhaji, Bharali masala wangi. From rice plenty of options available from fodanich bhat, jeera rice, masala rice.. Overall you'll enjoy the food here.

If ever you yearn to have a wholesome vegitarian 'Maharashtrian ghar cha jevan(home cooked food)' then this place is your go-to destination... The thali here is either limited/ unlimited which you can choose from based on your appetite.... Most subjis in the thali are likable and a person used to eating good variety of vegetables will relish the variety of subji served.... A thali here typically consists of 2 subji of which one is with gravy and the other is dry... Dal-rice(limited rice portion for limited thali), chapatis, raita.... At times they also serve masale bhat / khichadi as part of thali rice preparation.... You have buttermilk/solkadi as part of the thali.... They do have sweets to serve but on request.... Apart from thali, they also serve other subji-chapati/bhakar options as per menu.... A nice option for students for monthly mess, tiffin facility.... Service is good, friendly owners and staff members, suggest what you should eat, if you ask for assistance.... During peak rush hours, you may find the wait time a bit longer but that's because when your plate finally arrives, it has those freshly made garma-garam chapatis which remind you of a home cooked thali totally! All in all, a reliable and clean place to fill your tummy at that too at a pocket friendly price.... Ambience is how a hygienic and clean eating place should be on an average.... Brightly lit, clean tables and chairs, basics all in place perfectly.... Parking for 4-wheeler is not possible here since it's located in a bye-lane off Tilak road.. 2-wheeler parking is manageable.... Am sure the staff will assist to accomodate wheelchair entries if any, entry is not direct and has a step up to enter.... If you consider food quality (and food portion served) to be of higher priority than the decoration around you while you dine then this is a must try place.... For those rating a place merely by it's ambience, maybe you need to taste the Maharashtrian food here to decide.... Recently they have introduced uniforms for the staff which shows dedication towards serving customers better and better....
