Be cautious guys , they served us beef instead of chicken. It is completely against to our culture to eat beef and I have done the biggest Sin in my life . Based on Google reviews, Me and my friends went for dinner and it is biggest mistake we have made. The Resturent owner was not regret to the insident and he just said it was human error and asked do you want anything for this mistake. I suggest restaurant owner to keep sign board before enterance because people will be cautious before making decision to have lunch/dinner here. People who are ordering food from Zomato and Swiggy please be catious.

While the name having "Kerala Restaurant" conjures up wholesome goodness and variety, there was much expectation from Swad Assal Taste Kerala Restaurant. Being alone meant ordering the basics and there was definitely good flavour and freshness in the chicken roast and appam I ordered. I particularly liked the occasional bite of fresh coconut in the roast and just the "right" texture of the appam to dunk the roast in. Sadly though, the place itself could use a bit of an upgrade - especially the basics of fixing a tap to wash our hands with and not a bucket and mug! Overall, recommended provided you are more interested in the taste of good food and can ignore the elements of ambience.

Love their breakfast items! Especially the thattu dosa, appam and idiyappam! The kadala curry is on point too. Must try the chicken and buff roast. The staff are very sweet. I have been ordering from them for one year now, most of the dishes are good. Snacks and tea are kerala style. If you miss home, this is the place to visit.

Second best Malayali food in Hyderabad I was new to Hyderabad however in short time span I have visited many Kerala hotels and Swad no doubt clearly better Porotta is good Authentic Kerala food not very expensive If you want to have lunch go early. Variety of snacks like pazhampori, ullivada, bonda, parippuvada...are also available Kizhi items not yet tried I will try next time Seating capacity is very limited Owner is frm Kayamkulam
