Loved the taste it offers for each of the South delicacies. If you want to dine in, the tables are limited. The arrangement is of a typical udipi style eat on the go where you order, eat standing and leave. There is also a fruit juice centre.

I have tried both the North Indian Thali and the South Indian Thali here. Loved them both. Loved the Paysam and Mirchi Bhaji in the South Indian Thali was wonderful as was the Gulab Jamun, mixed veg curry and Paneer curry in the North Indian Thali. The ambience is good. Service is reasonably fast. Staff is responsive to customer needs.

My favorite go to place for food . U can go for food at any time of the day. Thalli is very good. You have both north and south thali .

I will not recommend this hotel strongly. I have requested for sugar less tea for sugar patient. Initially said no time to make it and then i tried to return the token to get the money. Again counter guy asked to take money from the guy who serves the tea. How the tea maker can give the money???? Later again tea guy agreed to prepare after 10 mins. There are no moral values and they opened big hotel where they cannot reach basic requirements. Please be careful.

I recently had lunch at Swaad of South in Basheerbagh, and overall, it was a decent experience. The restaurant is notably clean, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The South Indian Thali (limited) was reasonably priced at 150/- and offered a variety of items, including 2 Pooris, Curry, Fry Curry, Dal, Sambar, Curd, Chutney, and a Sweet.Most of the dishes were quite tasty, and I appreciated the variety. However, I must mention that the Rasam didn't quite meet the usual Rasam standards. It lacked tomato puree, the expected sourness, and was a tad salty. This is an area that could use improvement.Despite this minor setback, I enjoyed the overall dining experience at Swaad of South and would consider returning. It's a clean and hygienic restaurant offering a good South Indian Thali, with the potential to make some refinements in specific dishes like the Rasam.

Awesome Kanadda style breakfast, I was always looking for a one near my area and I found one. Literally the Butter Masale Dosa was the showstopper, first time I liked a Dosa which was tastier by self without any palia(aloo) or chutney. Kesari bath was also good. Coffee was a disappointment as I expected it to be strong and thick but it was light and diluted. But nevertheless this is my kind of place for breakfast.

What a nice decent vegetarian place in the city. The ambience is pretty neat and bright! Located right in the middle of the city in Basheerbagh with ample parking space is a huge plus! We had lunch in the dine in section towards the back of the building not in the walk in/tiffin section in the front. I will try the tiffin section too and add a review again! The food was very tasty and delicious; service was quick and the staff was courteous. They served the food without any delay and we could not take any pics, sorry! We tried the Lemon Coriander Soup, Malai Broccoli, Paneer Tikka(tandoori), American Chop suey and Fried Rice. Broccoli was melting away in the mouth; the American chop suey was very well done; I was little hesitant to order this since the place was South...but please do try this dish! Paneer was cooked fine and the soup was throat relishing! Please do try the place and add your pics/review so it is helpful for others! We made a reservation and service was very quick and easy! We ordered Rava Dosa, Masala Dosa, Idlys, Rava Idly, Chilli Paneer, Malai Broccoli, and Thai Chilli Lotus Stems; everything was good but the Broccoli taste was little different and we will not order this next time!

DO NOT EAT HERE !!! I ordered thatte idly , my family wanted to eat thatte idly for a long time and had high expectations but, did not taste or look or feel like idly it has a very weird texture, i am adding an image to show how real thatte idly looks like we were so irritated that we made thatte idly at home. And I also ordered Puri. The Puri was very good but the kurma (vegetable gravy curry) was made of old and probably rotted veggies. We asked the staff to tell the chef that it is not consumable but the guy did not listen to us and kept arguing that they just made it in the morning and it was fresh. But we could literally smell that it was bad and it tasted bitter and weird. Their dosas were very crispy. Many people love crispy dosa including me but their dosas were too crispy. My grandparents had a hard time eating their dosa Because they were very hard. They explained it like eating a very thick papad that can cut your mouth. The only good thing about the lunch was the perfectly warm hand bowl with lemons that were not expired like the kurma. Even their drinking bottled water tasted bitter. Rather get your own water bottle.
