Suryamal Sunset Point - Tourist attraction in Suryamal - Palghar, India

Gorgeous place. Hidden gem !! Full of greenery and many waterfalls with fresh flowing rain water. Suryamal is 1800m above sea level. Simple village with scenic views.

Place is peaceful, not so much rush, good place for camping,before reaching to surayamal there is one old bridge were u will find waterfall, u can swim there safety mandatory.

Beautiful Place must visit in monsoon with friends and family. Greenery spread all over and fog also. Best place for photography. Their is no food option are there. U have to carry your food n water also. Less crowded place. Roads are good u can enjoy bike riding also. Thera are many waterfalls on the road.

Pro : Very silent place. No crowd. No pollution. Spend time with nature. We visited in monsoon. Cons : no food or drinking water nearby. So carry along with you. But please don't throw plastic bottles or wrappers there. Parking charges 2 wheeler Rs.20/- 4 wheeler Rs.30/- No entry charges

- Truly a hidden gem for nature lovers - Situated on a plateau, it provides awesome view of the valley and the river flowing beneath - The road to Suryamal is equally enjoyable and will force you to stop at several places for beautiful valley views and lush greenery - The forest department has developed this place with couple of watch towers, paved pathways, play area for kid's etc - Google map ended abruptly on the khodala road, we seek help from locals for exact location. The last mile approach road is narrow and needs to be handled accordingly - Paid parking is available, no entry fee though for the sunset point - There is a tea stall near parking which offers maggi, vadpav etc.

I went here with a friend of mine, just to checkout the place. It's decent place to spend time with your family. Few slides, swings etc to keep the tiny ones busy. No food or water was available. There were no proper washrooms either. There is a entry fee. Parking is available and is charged. You can easily spend around 30 mins here, since the view is awesome. But not sure about sunset coz i went in the morning. Your can bring along for and water for a short picnic. 3 stars coz the place needs lots of maintenance from my point of view.

Awesome place for travel during monsoon & winter, Near Wada City. Roads are decent.

Location is very convenient to reach, airport is very near. There are restaurants and a mall across the street around the hotel. The hotel staff and services are very professional and nice, they will help you locate the room services and information. About Neighbor Hood. The room is clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony of the room makes it pleasant and luxurious. Best place to relax and enjoy the pool.
