Very Good pond at badgaon nalanda

Good place for a sacred bath in hot spring. Although it's very unhygienic in the Kund but there is a separate good place nearby which is paid for taking bath in 70 rs per person

It is believed that the pond was dug by grandson of lord Krishna. Giving Arghya (arghy) to Surya Dev at the pond of Bargaon considered to be holy. In order to offer prayer at the temple:- 1. You have to take holy dip at the pond and then you have to offer Dandvat Pranam (Kashti) on way to temple gate. 2. You are not allowed to enter temple premises in dirty cloth/body after offering kashti 3. Return back from main gate of the temple take holy dip again. 4. Get puja samagri - Pond jal in puja lota, agarbatti, camphor, humad etc 5. Enter mandir premises and offer prayer. I visited during chhath puja, pond was not so clean. It is a tradition to use pond water to prepare Kharna Prasad but not possible due to muddy polluted water. I saw many people using soap and shampoo to bath making water unfit. Pond is not too deep but barricading is provided to avoid any mishap. Only few taps supplying clean water are present, toilets are unavailable. It is responsibility to provide clean water to crowd present during chhath puja.
