Surya Dam Visited this place long back in college days after years Visited again..good place for taking pics of selfies . But no nearby food is available open parking can easily park two & four wheeler.

Beautiful as well as Risky and dangerous place at a same time rainy season increased the beauty of the dam but the flow of water punch you the fear at the same time.

It is a perfect Weekend getaway. The road to the dam is more beautiful than the dam itself. The dam provides very good scenery since it is surrounded by mountain and lush green trees. Good place to rejuvenate and enjoy the nature. . The best time to visit is during the month of July to November. Sufficient space is there for bike and four wheeler parking . It is not advisable to get into water as many casualties have been reported.

Surya Dam is a nice spot to visit. It has adequate water level throughout the year. It could be maintained better.

Not so big dam but looks nice ... Surya dam is a small scale dam on the Surya river in Palghar district of Maharashtra. This comparatively lesser known destination is an ideal one day trip option from Pune and Mumbai.

Nice place for swimming One of the places for quick visits in Palghar Situated between the ghats Can be visited with freinds. Need to bring snacks from nearby market since no shops available nearby. Mostly clean and full of people during holidays. Water is clean however do not go inside if you don't know swimming.

Nice place to visit with friends specially during monsoon. It's a bit risky tho. Has very less safety measures.
