Small quaint place. Animals have spacious enclosures and the best thing is that this zoo keeps only rescued animals. Many enclosures have been adopted by kind samaritans. Lovely experience

It is open from 9 am to 5 pm all year round and I would recommend visiting the zoo at around 9:30 am . This is because most of the animals go inside to rest from 12 onwards and so only the deer and jungle fowl can be seen then. There is a museum and a souvenir shop as well.

It is the one & only zoo(mini zoo) in Purulia District. If you want to visit then you can easily reach there by local toto, personal bike,car etc. It is beautifully surrounded by nature from its all sides. Please carry your own food & water when you'll visit there. Thank you

One highlight of my visit was the informative talks and feeding sessions conducted by the knowledgeable zookeepers. It was heartening to see the dedication of the staff towards the well-being of the animals and the park's conservation efforts. As the name suggests It's a mini zoo and It fulfills it's name I'm visiting the zoo for the second time after 5-6 years. And it has improved a lot. You can see two very big packs of deers almost 20-30 I guess and they like joining you in selfies too hehe, Porcupines, many types of birds. As I visited in winters the anaconda was hibernating I still saw it. I'm unsure if the bear is still there I was unable to see it or if it was hibernating. It's like a park and zoo mixture really well maintained. You can take a lot of pictures there. It would be fun if they add more animals as many of the aviaries just blank. If you are in or went to Purulia you should have a trip there you'll enjoy it. Both Gents and Ladies toilet available.

It is a good place to visit for all. It is like a resting place in between nature. The timing for visit is from 09 A.M. to 05 P.M. And the entry ticket for adults is Rs 10 in weekdays and Rs 15 on Saturday and Sunday. However during summer time it is very hot and humid. It also accommodates a Forest Rest House and the booking can be done from Forest Office Purulia at Raghabpur More. The best time to visit is during winters.

Nice place for visit with friends and family on weekend. I recently visited the mini zoo with my elder brother. Overall experience was quite good. I can't say that it was like very good or fabulous experience. There are so many such things in which I think too much improvement in needed. I noticed one thing, the whole zoo was very much cleaned was plants were well maintained. In case of animals, I want to say, they need more cares. Thank You

Nice place, neat and clean environment. If you except so many animals then it will disappoint you. Otherwise, the perfect place for relaxing, spending some time with nature. Huge sitting area. In developing states, many more to come. Entry fees Rs. 20 for elders & Rs 10 for 10 years old kids. My friends and I went there for a long time. It's very refreshing. If someone visits Purulia for vacation then manage a few hours to explore the park.
