A Nice Calm place to spend peaceful evenings watching the waves and feeling the cool breeze on face.
Breathtaking views from this light house on the Arabian coast due to the allowance of the climb on to the tower of the light house here. Combination of Science and Tourism. Totally worth the cost of Rs 20 per person by the Ministry of shipping. Their staff is also pretty supportive and guide. One can also the greenery along the cost line along with NIT Surathkal hostels and main admin building.
Amazing view of the city and the sea from atop. You will have to climb a few flights of stairs but worth the effort. The wind and the views make up for it. Especially beautiful during sunset.
A fabulous no man's land for absolute privacy. A beautiful temple just a few steps away. Unfortunately the lighthouse is closed for visitors due to COVID restrictions.
This lights house is located between tadambail and nitk college. It is open 9:30 to 5:30 pm.view from the light house is awesome and the beach along the coast is really serene beauty and with boulder. It's a treat to watch the sunset from the light house or from the boulders nee the beach. This beach is very clean and safe and u will see lot of people come to watch the sunset and enjoy the sea waves. Also Sri sadashiva Temple is right near the beach. One should visit this beach.
There are many beautiful beaches in Mangaluru, however I chose NITK especially just to click these pictures. I always wanted to capture a pic of lighthouse in low light and today I got the perfect opportunity. This is one awesome beach, less crowded and no time restrictions (atleast as far as I have seen)
Lot of steps to climb..but worth each step after reaching the top & seeing 360deg of breathtaking view of sea with clean beach on one side and green land on the other. It's open between 3-5pm on every day. Entry ticket is RS. 10 per person. Extra for camera. No extra ticket for mobile.
