Its an average restaurant in Saklespur town, near to bus stand
Location - on BLR-MLR highway, in Sakleshpur, just before the town area
Parking - Enough parking in the front
Ambience - is average
Hygiene - Tables are not cleaned properly, and plates doesn't look great
Service - is ok, they try to suggest from the available items than our choice or menu
Food - No issues with quantity but lacks a lot in quality/taste, veg Briyani was bright red and spicy and panner butter masala was lacking butter and spicy. veg fried rice was kind of ok.
Prices - are reasonable
Restrooms - available, cleanness deserved a lot
There's a petty shop (for snacks) and a spices shop nearby for a quick shopping
Can be an option if you can't find any other in the highway as per your timing/plan
Sakleshpura. This was the second stop of our Bengaluru-Udupi bus. Beware, as the bus doesn't take any halt till Mangaluru, not even at Hassan.
This is a roadside hotel, so please don't expect fine dining. I think these hotels have tie-ups with specific KSRTC bus routes, how else you would explain the meals for 50 people being ready the moment we landed? After years and years of travel in South India, I have learnt one thing and that is, Idli Sambhar is safest meal you can have anywhere. Idli is steamed and Sambhar is boiled. Tables are very few, so peple were sharing tables and no one seemed to mind. It was a chillax atmosphere. People seemed to enjoy the meal set (called Thaali). The elderly couple sitting on table requested for some customization (chapati instead of Poori I guess), and they happily obliged it.
There are many snacks counters, selling chikkis, chocolates, biscuits etc. Purchasw some if your hunger runs on a clock. You will not get to eat for another 3.5-4 hours after that.
Please note, that after you leave from here, there are 2 hours of S-bends and hairpin bends waiting for you. It's a 2 hours ghaat road. So, if you want this meal to stay in the stomach, please eat consciously.
Do not go to this restaurant ..not at all recommended...looking at the number of reviews we decided to go..we ordered idli and butter masala dosa... idli was not at all tasty it was half boiled..and the dosas potato stuffing was stale and stinky. We told the waiter about this but he ignored to agree.
The location is incredible and no issue with parking. I ordered Idli and coffee. Idli could have been soft and the coffee is below average. They will need to work on quality, taste, and maintenance for a better customer experience. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for quality and taste.
Hot clean food served with the sweetest of smiles. The food tastes fresh and homecooked. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy. Surroundings are serene. We spotted 15 different species of birds while observing from the car park area.
This restaurant truly excels in the art of tea-making. The tea here is simply outstanding, delivering a rich and flavorful experience that's hard to match. If you're a tea enthusiast, this place is a must-visit to savor a delightful cup that's brewed to perfection.
Made a quick stop for lunch. The food is ok ok and sambar was too bad to eat. The lemon didn't tasted fresh in lemon soda. Go if you are absolutely in need. Else avoid.
This hotel having tie up with bus services.. so mostly most of the buses stop here for break. Food is average... This place is after the shiradi ghat so this is convenient place to have a tea or coffee... Toilet facilities available... Food quality found to be average..

Nice place. Situated by the main road at Sakaleshpur. Filling and tasy breakfast menu. Reasonable price. Clean washroom also available which is a plus point.
We stopped at this place for breakfast while on the visit Bangalore. The place has both dining and lodging if you need to stay.
The place is neat and clean. The menu was limited but good taste. The tea was just awesome. The toilets are also clean. T
