1st of all, kindly keep in mind that, It is a Govt. Institute, so u may not get corporate type infrastructure for classes and studies.. but overall its a good Institute

Accommodation is good, food and canteen is below exceptions. Always a danger of snakes inside boundaries. Just typical government hostel, you can adjust here.

This is one of the best locopilot training centre of Indian Railways...I an also pursuing my ALP training here ...The accommodation, surrounding hostel and above all the instructors are the best part of this institute...Plus it is the only place for carriage and wagon training ...

The only resonance is "learn" "learn" and "learn"....A great place to spend time with Teachers/Instructors. Worth visiting though restricted.

Natural environment, every basic need is available at this place like food,med,playground,garden,hotel....etc

It is under SERly kharagpur division. This centre has a big auditorium. .

STC/KGP is one of the Major Training Institutions of IR with a Trainee Capacity of around 500 (i.e. On an average, every moment 150 maintenance Supervisors and 250 running staff are available in this Training Centre and it earns more than one lakh Trainee-Days per year). It has its own Class-Rooms, Technical Model Rooms, Hostels, Laboratories, Gym-Hall, Auditorium, Train Driving Simulator, Cafeteria, Recreation Club, attached Diesel Loco Shed, an Integrated Workshop (largest in Asia), Computer Lab (with internet connectivity) etc for catering to the training needs of above two lakhs of Railway Employees of SER, ECoR & SECR collectively
