Super OYO Townhouse 231 Golden Avenue Road - Hotel in Amritsar - Amritsar, India

The hotel is affordable and was clean. The washroom was also pretty clean. The location was near to the golden temple and you can get a Riksha for 20 per head or 100 if you want it exclusive. There is food inhouse which was good. No particular service but it should be fine for the price. Recommend for anyone who is on a budget but would want to stay at a safe and clean place.

The hotel location was not very far from the main Golden Temple. The rooms are spacious for 2 people but were not very clean. The bed sheet had old stains and the white fan was black due to dust. In the washroom, WC cover was not very clean and the floor was not moped properly. Overall an average stay but minor details could have improved the experience

food is good, little pricy, not all food items are available for all the time. cleaning is very good, toilet very good, Ac is good, painting are also good. Donot paid in app, they will not allow you to stay in that case. And for that you surely missed the online booking discount!! Room service and waiter do not want Tips!!! (really unespected)

Worst experience. If you're planning to book, please do yourself a favour and don't book. We were a family of 12 & booked 6 rooms (with breakfast). Upon arrival, owner was ready to assign only 4 rooms (even though payment was done for 6 rooms) and said rooms are not available. Upon much argument he gave 2 rooms. Lots of unnecessary kitkit. We had communicated earlier we will need breakfast packed early morning as we had to leave for another location - that also you can guess right - they didn't give breakfast. Pathetic people. Pathetic hotel. Rooms were not clean, very dusty. Save yourself from mental agony.

Pathetic service, pathetic is an understatement. Half of the food was not available, in such extreme weather conditions in Amritsar where temperature was as down as 4-5 degrees warm drinking water was not available. They did not even have a flask to keep water warm, we feel sick drinking cold water as we had to near to 1 hr to get even a water bottle. Room service is pathetic, behaviour of the staff was extremely rude , poor & obnoxious. The worst part is you call for a bottle of water then you literally have to go down the reception to remind them, more than an hour they cannot give you water. We made a terrible choice by selecting, paying 2k+ per night , choosing a Townhouse property made us regret like anything, money wasted, service wasted. Will never go for an Oyo booking again.

At this price point, tea maker, water bottle should be provided complementary. However rooms were clean, but not upto the mark. Ground floor rooms were noisy. Rest was fine. Thanks

They dont know how to treat guest and their luggage I could see the room boy throwing our luggage in front of me. Secondly they are least bothered to provide breakfast and dinner to the guest which was already included in our tour package. Inspite of reminding and calling at the reception we wernt provided with dinner and when asked reception was very rude and he was like i didnt receive any update you'll can do swiggy or zomato. Dont we know this option ? Then why did we pay extra ? 1 of the worst hotel and mainly not at all safe for womens as of as we stepped out of the hotel 3 mens came in a bike and passed some comments. So please think twice before booking this hotel through OYO and lesser himalayas tour operator. Not at all recomendable for families.
