Nice hotel to stay with friends. All the important places of the city can be easily accessed. I stayed here during IPL, and Eden Garden is merely 15 minutes walk away. This proved to be of great help while returning late night after the match.
Fan fall out from the wall. Room full of bed bugs, holes in the wall, AC was very weak and didn't keep a stable temp. Gave another star just because the behavior of staffs were good and for the location.
The quality of rooms are average . The hotel is in midst of dirty roads but the tram passes near through it .. it has distance of 1.5 kms from dharamtala market area and esplande metro station too, food is cheap and okay
Absolutely ridiculous service. They will rob you by putting extra charges with arbitrary service, staff attitude is pathetic and rude, ridiculous room service. Worst hotel I have stayed even if it is for 1 day. Not recommended in any way and please stay out of it. The rooms are unclean and you may get infected. If there is a concept of negative marking, I would have used that.
First of all i just love to visit kolkata, nd m a frequent visitor, according to my budget being a student new city hotel tariff are best and the best thing is that new market takes only 10 min from there. I wont prefer it as a family stay. For bachelors or for only gents its quite a good deal.
Worst service!! Wifi don't work at all in second floor... told the manager to fix it. Then manager said that he will get it fixed. But he didn't do it. The phone also didn't work. If u have to call room service or order for food,u have to go outside of your room then there is a calling bell then if u press then, u have to wait at least 15/20 mins..then if u are lucky,a boy will show up. But the price of the room is cheap than any other hotels.
It's amidst a hustle bustle small gully.. near Maulana Azad College. Room are fine not that luxurious but yeah you can manage. Staffs are good. I have been staying here with my family and they know us really very well. Hotel is 24 hrs open. Wifi is there. Best thing is the fruit market just nearby. You get best of fresh fruits. Quite a reasonable hotel.
Very nice hotel , rooms are cleaned and air conditioned. Price is also cheap and room service is also good. But don't order food from the hotel itself either you order food online or you can go to some resturant.
