Dhupguri super market is one of the largest super market of West Bengal . Different varieties of vegetables, fruit are imported and exported through this market . Through this market different varieties of products exported to Assam ,Bhutan ,Sikkim , Darjeeling ,Nepal and all other points of India . The market is famous for potato export ,you can call this market potato hub of North Bengal . Two day in a week the hat held ,these are Tuesdays and Saturdays but open all the week .
Vegetables are super cheap here.. Because of the local vendors I guess.. Compared to the dhupguri main market it is less spread around.. Most of the shops are temporary basised.. Go and buy there.. Thanks for reading..
There is many outher super market available, like municipalities market, din bazzar, boil khana bazzar, station bazzar. It opens at morning 7 am and closes at 8 pm at night. 100 + sellers sells there goods in the market. Payment methods is mainly use cash. Only Indian currency is required. Available many items like vegetable, packeg milk, spices, eggs etc. Also available stationery gooda, like glue, paper etc.
Dhupguri super market is a morning market specially, Saturday and Tuesday busiest day ( hat bar in Bengali, main day of market ) this market is mainly for raw vegetables wholesale and domestic animals nothing else.
This is the only super market of dhupguri village.. This is also only super market neighbouring villages.. So the villagers of dhupguri and surrounded villagers come to the place for sell their crops, vegetables many other items. The businessmans come here for buy fresh products.. This is a not very good but a small village super market..
Super market is mainly known for it's raw products selling. Many wholesale product sellers are associated with the market. Many cold storage of potatoes are also found here. By the way this place is very dirty. It's an unhealthy place for roaming or shopping.
