Sunview Beach Resort & Spa by Citrine - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Very bad experience as there is construction going on in the hotel and they completely ignored the guests staying in the hotel and continued their work till night 1:00 am. When complained about it, they gave the excuse that guest occupancy is less that is why they extended their work. This was really not an acceptable excuse because I paid money to get peace of mind and relax and not to get harassed with full night construction work sound.

At the cliff. You have an awesome beach view. Construction was going on and will be completed soon, hence couldn't explore their restaurant and had some inconvenience. It will be great to stay after the construction work. However, we had a nice time.

Horrible place to stay... would not recommend to anyone... phone in room was not working, we had to walk down for everything No kettle in the room for making tea Service from restaurant is so slow, moring tea took more than 45 mins to come. Breakfast had cold poori bhaji, and cold bread.. thats it. Not at all worth the money they are taking. No one to even take feedback or hear us. Worst experience ever in any hotel.

A perfect resort for enjoying with your family and friends. Got a good view and a good pool. Service was really good. And a clean classic place . ultimately i give the rating of 4.5/5 for this really a good resort.

Bad experience ever, We booked the rooms and, it was very worst Decision from our side. First of all staffs are very good but remaning all is not up to the mark. *There is No wifi properly( very low signal and automatic disconnecting) *water is very limited especially in the wash basin area. *All premises is messed up due to construction works. *Basic things like water kettle, tea bag is not available and got the buffet tea at 9am after waiting for one hour. *Pool water was dirty *No buffet breakfast is available , but while booking it is mentioned and once you go there you will get a setup breakfast *Morning tea will be charged or you have to wait for tea which coming with complementary breakfast( setup) *Door lock was damaged If you want to njoy your vacation , go for someother resorts, don't waste the money.

Pathetic Service, took 3 hours to get 3 sets of towels. No Wifi. Dirty swimming pool. No room cleaning Never take extra occupancy, they give charpai type bed. And they charge 3000 per person for this bed. Never give payment in starting. Unless they wont even listen.

We were a team of 7 and it was a great experience staying in Sunview. The best part is the location, you can view the sea from the balcony and from the common area of the resort. It is very near to the beach. The swimming pool is very nice. Staff and Management are very co-operative and polite. Breakfast was really good. On the whole, it's worth money.

Overall a good place to stay as it offers a good surrounding... Just this visit was not too good as we had some construction work obstructing our view and also adding to the noise pollution
