It was a nice place with horrible staff and management. They charged 150 each for bread and tea which should have been complimentary ideally. Also, they denied us access to pool stating it's only for guests who has booked their villa. Whereas no such notice was put up anywhere for public information. The staff was extremely rude to us. The owners should train their staff to treat guests properly if they want to keep running the place with same staff. Also, someone who knows either English or Hindi will add on to it. Very disappointed with our experience. Will not recommend anyone to go there.

Visited with family and it's such a beautiful and pleasant place. Serene at the countryside. The villa is very homely and also the cottages they make us feel at home. Thank you sunshine farms and their staff. Will visit again soon.

We stayed for two days in the cottages and it was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

It was a 3 night stay for us. 2 nights at the cottage and the last night at the "villa"! for pool access. A suggestion to everyone who are thinking of going there - Please carry your drinks as the nearest wine shop is in Shillong near Garikhana, a 2 hours drive to and fro. PROS We did enjoy our stay at the cottages. The rooms were good and the greenery outside the cottages was great. The toddlers loved it. The staff were very helpful especially Eddie. He was always available on call even at night. A really charming fellow. CONS I will really suggest the management to upgrade the bed from normal double beds to at least a queen size bed for the cottages and the master bedroom in the villa. Villa is hot!!! And the normal ceiling fans do not work as the ceiling is too high. A serious recommendation, Do upgrade the ceiling fans to high ceiling fans and provide ACs in the bedrooms at the Villa. The kitchen at the villa needs some work as the exhaust isn't working and that water filter leaks. And yes there is a cockroach infestation. Better call pest control. We don't mind paying but the food has be good. The bread that was provided on the 1st morning as breakfast was just plain stale. We had to raise the issue with the cabin boy. You don't expect to pay Rs 150 for an omelet and 4 pieces of stale bread. And the quality of the rice provided is not what you expect when you pay Rs 90/- for a plate of rice. I, for one, know the taste of local rice as I visit Shillong frequently. This isn't one up to the mark. The rest of the things are good. Alusha, the owner was always a call away. was aThe place has ample space and it will be really beautiful when all the work is completed.

We booked the villa. The villa beds are not for 2 people. Its very uncomfortable. There is a tv in the living area which doesn't work. Seems like it's kept for showpiece. kitchen is not well maintained there are all cockroaches inside the cupboards and all over the plates and spoons.. the entire villa has 1 bathrooms which makes it difficult for 6 people to access. The pool was very dirty with all insects floating on the water. When we asked the staff to clean it they refused saying it will take time and that they have limited staff . Quad bike was also not available. So if you are booking for pool and quad bike this are just for show you won't be able to access it. Overall the experience was very substandard as villa room tariff per night is very high in comparison to the amenities provided. Not at all recommended

There's nothing much about the place except for the small swimming pool and the bicycle..we were 3 families who booked the resort..At the villa the tv and the microwave oven wasn't working..the guy at the reception has so much of attitude.. customer service is 0.the cottages were quite decent.. check out time is at 11:30 am and check in time is after 1:30.. the place is quite boring at night as it's also quite far incase you need to buy anything..we've been there but never going there again..

Location was a bit far. Quad bike was not available. Swimming pool was for private Villa only. The place was massive and peaceful. The cottage was reasonable. But the villa charges were way too high.

Overall decent - Ambience, facilities, location. Water shortage is a problem if you are taking the villa and food could have been better! Cheers!
