It is no more the same sunset point which used to be in past. Its much more commercialised with no natural beauty anymore. There are trees which have grown in the valley obstructing the view of sun actually setting beyond the hills. Horses take a lot of space and people need to be aware all the time. There are eateries and game shops to make it worse The approach road is very narrow and you will end up in traffic after Sun set is over as everyone will leave at almost same time. You may skip this if you want and you will not miss anything substantial.

This is a beautiful place to view the sunset in mahabaleshwar and very crowded. The view of the sunset is really beautiful from here. It has space to sit also and enjoy the sunset. Also there are little shops selling snacks, tea and coffee and games and horses to ride for kids. The place can be improved to make it more accessible for elderly people. There is parking outside for cars and you can even sit in the car and enjoy the sunset.

It's really amazing but little crowded...still I love this place! We can see Pratapgarh from here...the view is breathtaking!!! there are 2,3 restaurants where you can eat snacks and enjoy the scenery! I ate bhutta there was amazing!! I visited in this summer only temperature over there is 25degC
