Sunrise Palace - Hotel in Mount Abu - Sirohi, India

It was a great disappointment, Horrible service and Poor maintenance. The property is in Excellent location and a great Heritage building. Unfortunately the maintenance & service is the worst. Room walls are peeled off, NO painting may be for decades, The blankets and Bed spreads are also may be decade old. They claim that the rooms are cleaned, but we did not see that cleanliness and hygiene anywhere in the rooms. In a chilling cold, with near ZERO temperature around, there was NO hot water. Staff started explaining heat theory that the water will become cold by the time it comes from Guizer to the tap. Shame on them. Next day, they switched on the boiler and dirty water, Rusted RED water came for more than 30 buckets. It means that the rooms were not used / cleaned for many months. Only 2 poor staff were running around to service the guests for all the needs including Restaurant food, Room service, water problem, etc. Buffet breakfast was with just 2-3 items. Not worth it. Chethan is a good, polite and humble manager. But that will NOT pay the value for money to the customers. I suggest the owner of the property to shut down the facility for few months, Repair all the walls, Bathrooms, Plumbing work, Replace all the blankets, Bed spreads for the better stay of the customers. In summary, in the current condition, the great heritage building in a very good location is NOT suitable for stay. I wanted to be frank and transparent in my feedback to the owner of this property, hence provided this honest feedback.

According to the price the hotel is not worth it, every amenities are a bit dull and they do not keep up with the service they provide. Room - they provide with basic facilities but not anything extra ordinary every thing is old, they might want to preserve the heritage style but it need some work, furniture needs to be refurbished. View - view and sitting area of the hotel is not breath-taking but it is good for a family stay, they need to trim the grass and work a bit on asthetic and sitting area. Overall u can prefer to stay there if u want a decent place with a bit rusty furniture a not so good room service.

During 1950 brahmakumaris head Dada lekhraj lived in this place called brijkoti earlier with 250 followers, and now b.k institutions giving unique meditation skills free.so this hotel has historic importance.should stay here and visit nearby bk.institutions

Rooms are superb... Location with beautiful view.... service is not good

Service extra ordinary poor... The location is good. So many restrictions for enjoying.

Location & view from this hotel is pleasant. It's a good option if you don't want to stay in hotel all day. There are no activities like swimming pool or snooker table nothing. Some rooms are really very spacious but you get bored if you don't have anywhere to go.

This Hotel has gone down to Dogs! Stayed on 28th July 2018. The service is just too poor. Avoid staying there. The room are averagely kept. Difficult to get a tower, hot water. Lobby cleanliness is below average. Food service is in pits. You order food, comes after an hour. When asked for a bed tea - they say - "Go down and have it" !!! No cutlery on table. "we dont keep ice here" was reply when the place was booked for a party group of 11. No mention at that time. Cancel it if you can. The Manger on duty in charge is the rudest. All the guests had arguments with him. He said " I don't care if you do not come back!" ...nothing more to say. Hope they will take the lesson and try to improve.

So this is an excellent place to enjoy your time in mount Abu . We stayed there for two days recently and every thing was perfect . The hotel is a vintage palace from 18th century , rooms are big and room heights are almost 14' , which is huge . As an interior designer , I felt this is a perfect place to be . The beautiful garden , vintage architecture , View from your balcony , Friendly and helpful stuff everything is on the point . Food is also very testy and you get it room delivered every in late night . Book this hotel if you truly understand what a vintage hotel means , Don't expect anything like OYO here . Enjoy your stay .
