Sunquest Hotel Leisure & Fitness Resort - Resort hotel in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram - Thiruvananthapuram, India

We stayed at Heritage Luxury Rooms for one night. The building's architecture requires climbing steep steps to reach the rooms. However the rooms are highly luxurious, comfortable and cozy. The owner is polite, cooperative, and helpful in answering questions about the water sports and local attractions. The hotel boasts a large swimming pool and a decent restaurant serving North Indian cuisine as well. The staff provided us with a welcome kit, including cookies and water, however, we found that the cookies were expired. The hotel is plagued by critical shortcomings, including frequent power outages that left us stuck in the elevator and resulted in the room's heater not functioning. The service boy's assistance, when it finally came, was delayed and unsatisfactory. AC is essential in coastal areas like Kovalam, but our experience was marred by a power cut during the night that resulted in the AC turning off and ruining our sleep for the entire night.

The rooms were very poorly maintained. Had to stay awake till late night due to disturbance of insects such as big spider and lizard at the room. There was cockroach at the bathroom and centipede on the bed. However, the staffs were all very friendly and polite. The breakfast provided was good. Hope the room's hygiene and cleanliness can be maintained.

The experience was very very poor. Following reasons for giving a poor rating. 1. The photos uploaded on website are completely different from what was offered to us for stay. 2. The room was like an old place, the curtains were not upto the mark 3. Washroom was too basic. 4. The room was not that clean when we entered. We experience some dirt sticking to our feet. 5. The lights for passage area was turned off which seemed to creepy for me to stay with my wife. Unsafe to be precise. 6. The AC fuse went off in 2 mins after turning it on. I left the room within 15 minutes and booked some other hotel nearby. I cannot risk staying at such secluded rooms. Worst ever experience of a hotel room

The place was fabulous!! The pool side view of the beach and premises were mind blowing. The rooms were very clean and upto mark. We had our elderly parents with us and we had chosen this place considering it's accessibility, distance from beach, lift facility, in-house restaurant etc. The room service was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and polite. The management had also allowed a slightly extended checkout without any charges. 5on5 for the wonderful experience!

We came here for our college tour for a day out package. And we were really impressed with the facilities and the rate at which they provided it. We were planning on visiting Kovalam beach and saw this resort was nearby. The manager Sharma was very cooperative and helped us through the booking process. We had our dinner from here. The food was great. Everyone loved it The beach was also at a walking distance. We were also allowed access to pool. The pool was big enough for 40 of us. And we had a great experience. They also enhanced our experience by playing music for us to vibe with in pool side. The views from poolside were also great. If you're looking for a resort in Kovalam with pool access, I'll recommend this one. I called many hotels and Sunquesr had the best price to offer. When we first saw the entrance to the resort, we were a but disappointed . But that changed soon as we stepped in. You'll see the resort has more to it than it looks outside. It's actually very large and the poolside is fantastic. If you're from college trying to book a resort to freshen up, try contacting them for best deals. They provided 5 ac rooms, pool side unlimited access with music and dinner at a reasonable price

It was our best stay at this place. Our room was at the top of the hotel , we had to climb up the hills to reach to our room, which was quite nice cz we have never experienced such a thing anywhere else. The view was very beautiful and peaceful. From our window and balcony we could see lots of greenery ,the ocean ,peacocks roaming freely here and there and yes the swimming pool was just few meters away from our room. The stay was fantastic . The staffs are very helpful and kind. The hotel owner was polite and helpful too. Thank you for making our stay wonderful

For the price, the room and the view it offers is fantastic. Food is fab, their Paneer malai and butter milk is a must must try. We were both women and it was very safe. The people are very warm, friendly and decent. Facility for hot shower would've made me give 5 stars..only drawback.

NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILY STAY. Even a Dharmashala would be a any day better choice as compared to this property. This is not a 4 star hotel, but cheap 2 star hotel having 1 star rooms and amenities. No hot water and electricity at night. Dirty and unhygienic rooms. No elevator for rooms on higher floor. All positive reviews on google are FAKE. TV not working. No parking space and many other issues with this property. Just check the real photos clicked during 2 night stay.
