Sunny Days - Resort hotel in Alappuzha, Champakulam - Alappuzha, India

Safe for family, clean rooms, nice scenery are positives, don't have big resturants and food varieties, its rural village from outskirts of allepy. This is good place for family with child, who want calmness and not expecting much food varieties. As it situated near river bay, tempo kind of vehicles have to be kept 300 meters away.

We were four friends and family stayed. Nice place. The attentiveness and entertainment of the host Mr.Sunil is commendable

I would highly recommend this place. We had a pleasent stay. It's a bit away from Alleppey town but it's just in front of the river. Location is good and rooms are decent. The caretaker Mr. Sunil Jacob is really kind, he is so accomodative. The checkin day we got delayed and missed to inform for dinner and it was raining heavily so couldn't go out as well, but Mr Sunil cooked us the dinner quickly, food is also simple and very nice, he also arranged a boat ride for us. Overall very good experience.

Excellent place to stay.. right in lap of nature with backwaters flowing on a step outside gate of property. Lush green garden and very clean rooms. Owner serves homemade authentic delicious food with lot of love and hygiene. Happy go lucky staff. If you need to order drinks he can facilitate else you can carry yours along. Overall Amazing experience. Good people.

It's a good play for small vacation where you could hang out with your friends and family.The rooms are not cleaned and mineral water was not provided on second day of the stay.The rates are on higher side when compared with the service they provide.

Me and my family arrived at the stay at around 8 pm., -it was very far (around 35 mins by road) from alappey railway station. - About the stay - not really satisfied bcoz: - water heater wasn't working and and it was kind of cold, - the furniture and setup is kind of old not properly maintained. - breakfast was consisting of only one option which was not suitable for kids. -we were being charged heavily for a small omlete that we thought was complimentary for our little kids and extra some tea which was suprising for us Overall, hospitality wise not so much satisfied and since we didnot know much about the location we had to travel a long distance to reach the houseboat area and other main attractions of alleppey. Only reason for giving atleast 2 star rating is we liked the calm and quiet location and hotel was kept clean.

This homestay is located very far from city, right on the water's edge. We reached here after dark, it was very difficult to navigate the car as the roads were narrow and completely dark at night. We wanted light dinner, which they provided and was good too. But for breakfast, they provided only one option and told us nothing else is available, not even bread. They had enough parking. We booked 2 rooms, the rooms had AC but one of the ACs didn't work. One thing we expect from homestay is their hospitality which we felt was lacking here.
